SAN DIEGO - A judge in North County gives the maximum sentence to a man who killed an Oceanside police officer in 2003.
It has been two months since a jury found Adrian Camacho guilty of killing Officer Tony Zeppetella during a traffic stop. That jury later recommended that Camacho receive the death penalty, and on Tuesday, Superior Court Judge Joan Weber endorsed that recommendation in a Vista courthouse.

It is one of the items the assembly and senate pushed through in January. They are back to working on SB-160 Dl for illegal aliens, and discounted college tuition for illegal aliens.
I cannot remember where I read it, I will look. But that is what was said in this article I read. The death penalty has been temporarilly halted.
