Didn't some terrorists escape in Yemen a couple of years ago and they caught them?
To: irish guard
Geez! A tunnel stretched 400 feet from the jail to a Mosque.

And we permitted Yemen to try this person because....?

I wasn't hitting on your "d" or "s" after escape. My typing or grammar sure isn't the best in the world. I put "escaped" in quotes because I'm thinking that they were released and the escape story is a ruse, which happens a lot with terrorists in the middle east.

I wonder if any of those who recently escaped, were among those who escaped in April of 2003. Here's the story about the other Yemani jail escape:
Main Suspects in USS Cole Bombing Escape From Yemeni Prison
Looks like Yemani has a problem when it comes to keeping terrorists behind bars. Maybe it's time we take over for them.

So, let's see.. they are now free to plan & execute another bombing and attack on Americans.
"Ah yes, we must treat these animals as criminals and not enemy combatants." Not if I were President!
Don't you think it's time to put some "teeth" behind the words we so often offer. It's one thing to say: "If you're not with us, you're against us." Quite another to send teams of specials ops around the world to take out anyone who dares mess with us. Israel has the right idea. Kill them and go after them until you can kill them.
I'm, personally, tired of hearing all this garbage about how we need to give these animals a chance to have their own country, their own way of life. Not when it kills Americans.

By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS Published: February 5, 2006 LYON, France (AP) -- A man considered a mastermind of the USS Cole bombing that killed 17soldiers in a Yemeni port in 2000 was among 23 people who escaped from a Yemen prison last week, Interpol said Sunday. Sheeeeeeeeeesh.......Doesn't the AP know the difference between soldiers and sailors.......

These scum should have been jailed six feet underground in airtight cells. No guards, food, water, or bars necessary.

For some reason all the news reports I'm hearing and the articles already published don't name him.? Why would that be? It's easy to find out.
"One of the top Al Qaeda members in Yemen was captured by security forces Tuesday, the Interior Ministry said, calling him a suspected mastermind of the homicide bombings of the USS Cole and a French oil tanker off the country's coast.
Mohammed Hamdi al-Ahdal was arrested after Yemeni forces surrounded his hide-out west of the capital, San'a, the Interior Ministry said in a statement carried on the official SABA news agency.
Al-Ahdal, also known as Abu Assem al-Makky, is one of the two main leaders of Usama bin Laden's Al Qaeda network in Yemen, according to security reports published in the Yemeni press."

The prisoners dug a 70 meter tunnel under prison cells to the mosque near shore. What the media wants you to believe.
I say the tunnel was dug from the mosque to the prison.

Thirteen al-Qaeda militants convicted in the attacks on the U.S. warship Cole and the French supertanker Limburg in Yemen were followed to various terrorist headquarters after their escape.
The USA followed all parties with satellite surveillance after IFRD chips were implanted during extensive interrogations and prisoner druggings.
Attacks were carried out after unmanned reconnaissance drones surveyed the sites for 48 hours.
Killed in several attacks were multiple high-level leaders of al-Qaeda and the escaped prisoners.
To: Right_Handed_Writer
Next time, they shouldn't be taken alive, that way that can't escape again.
