Heard in the background on a Fox News Alert.
Surprise!
Oh great, anyone want to bet on an "inside job"
How could that happen?
you meant escaped", right?
He "escaped" with 13 others involved with the USS Cole bombing..
Yea, in a hurry to post it - waited for someone else to post, didn't see anything so I did a quick one to avoid multiple posts.
Soon to resurface at a US/Mexico border near you!
Hit Yemeni govt. buildings with one JDAM for every prisoner "escaped". We should've done that a week after the Cole bombing.
I just heard that they dug a tunnel that lead all the way to a mosque. It's obviously an inside job and our bombs need to start flying for state sponsored terrorist support.
Ok, ok. It's "escaped". Give me a break - the "s" is next to the "d". :-)
Probably on his way to burn an embassy or something.
Isn't it interesting that only the terrorist prisoners seem to escape during these jailbreaks? Correct me if I'm wrong, but they never seem to spring anyone who's in for tax fraud or car theft or cheating on their wife or anything - just the wild-eyed bomber types.
Twenty Three Muahideen affiliated with Al-Qaeda have escaped from a maximum security prison in Yemen. Among the escapees are 13 convicted of the attack on USS Cole and the French tanker Limbourg. The prisoners dug a 70 meter tunnel under prison cells to the mosque near shore. They were assisted by others. The Government of Yemen has launched a large man hunt for the escapees and initiated an investigation.
Couldn't you say "X leaves jail" as well as "X left jail". I think both are grammatically correct.
Let's see. What did our government say? Something about just 17 dead and not worth the risk? Something like that? You have to know that these guys have probably changed their ways and won't try something like this again, huh?

Mastermind of USS Cole Attack Escaped From Yemen Prison
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
Published: February 5, 2006
LYON, France (AP) -- A man considered a mastermind of the USS Cole bombing that killed 17 soldiers in a Yemeni port in 2000 was among 23 people who escaped from a Yemen prison last week, Interpol said Sunday.
The international police agency issued an "urgent global security alert" for those who escaped Friday from the prison via a tunnel. It called the escapees "dangerous individuals."
A Yemen security official announced the escape Friday but did not provide details.
For evening prayers?
