British Muslims burn a Danish flag during a demonstration outside the Danish embassy over the publication of cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad, in London February 3, 2006. The cartoons, which first appeared in a Danish newspaper, have sparked outrage across the Islamic world, although Britain's normally provocative newspapers have so far refused to publish them. Yup, there's a silver lining on this dark cloud. Many Europeans will wake up and realize 60 million+ low paid (relative to the rest of the EU) muslims being able to swarm across their borders and claim their "rights" as EU citizens, may not be a good idea after all. One of my few sticking points with our myopic US policy that trades off short term benefits for long term headaches...

I see that you too noticed the "timing" of the Alabama church burning.

Ever since the Beslam incident, I've been saying they are going to do something similar (and on a grander scale) in this country. Imagine how easy it would be for them to have their marching orders and for a group of suicide bombers to attend Sunday services at several "mega-churches" around this country and the thousands of Christians they would kill. Also, they'd TOTALLY get a pass from Hollywood and the MSM who all HATE Christians.

This fox artical perhaps condenses the worldwide ramifications of these cartoons being printed.

And yes they are in Mexico. They are moving in on Hispanic women in South Texas and converting them with the notion that women are revered and considered special in the Muslim world!

"According to Islamists, everyone was born a Muslim."

Not me. I was born a sinner, saved by grace.

Thanks.

Over on ShiaChat, there are a few who are saying they are more offended about the way Muhammad is depicted than the fact that his image was drawn. But the Muslims brought this on themselves.

Ironic that al-Sistani wants calm, yet CAIR calls for an email campaign against the cartoons. However, our state department is in a bad spot with our soldiers over there trying to keep the peace while they set up their government. I'm sure if we were not in Iraq, our government's official response would have been much different.

I am of the opinion that the difference between the muslim who lives down the street from you, and the muslim who blew himself up on a bus in Israel is a matter of timing and opportunity, not moral compass and core belief differences.

Here I'd have to disagree. Cowardice, for one, would keep the majority of "down-the-street" Muslims from blowing you and themselves up. Another is that, imho, Islam is not from God, and therefore, somewhere in their hearts the True God speaks, and they know such murder, in the name of Islam, is wrong, even if Mohammed said Allah said it was OK. This same spark kept many an otherwise atheistic Nazi from acting like Jack the Ripper 24/7.

In any case, they'll find out someday. Those that refused to be so rabid will be better for it.

What an insult to Klingons. The Klingons have honor!

The Viking comment was an insult?

Actually, that (and other sin) is exactly the purpose of baptism.

Ah, but perhaps unsaved sinner = muslim.

They're partially right and they don't even know why.

The headline is typical Rooters. The US State Department, in no way, sided with the Religion of Pieces.

Protests prove cartoonist was right:

From Michelle Malkin this morning:

Lost Budgie points to an interesting admission in today's Globe and Mail:

“The protests in the Middle East have proven that the cartoonist was right,” said Tarek Fatah, a director of the Muslim Canadian Congress. “It's falling straight into that trap of being depicted as a violent people and proving the point that, yes, we are.”

No video games, no TV, have to wear a beard, can't have a dog as a pet, men can't wear gold, no music, can't play musical instruments, no masturbation, no Playboy, no Hustler, no beer, no bacon, no gambling, no common sense, no self-determination, no free thinking, etc, etc, etc.

Being moslem is a real bummer. You even have to wipe your ass a certain way.

The sooner we recognize that islam is actually an invading form of government pretending to be a religion the sooner we can start making sure islam never gets a foothold in America. islam's goal is to do exactly what the founders did not want to happen when they came up with the establishment clause.

Do you want to live under Sharia law? HEY! DOES ANYONE WANT TO LIVE UNDER SHARIA? Not me, never! I've learned all I needed to know about islam 24 hous after 9/11. I never paid any attention to it before 9/11. At first I thought that it was dumb for the moslems to kill a bunch of Americans thus waking some of us up. I thought that they made a mistake because now people will figure out what islam is all about. I was wrong, way before Sirhan Bishara Sirhan killed Bobby Kennedy islam had it's eye on us.

They have figured out our legal system and how to get morons on the left to help them in their cause to make all of us pray to a frigging black rock 5 times a day. The cancer spreads and nobody is hardly lifting a finger.
