Point taken - there is a Fascist element in France - but it isn't characteristic of France as a whole.

Darn, they're talking about nukes. I thought it was something important like cartoons. Yup. Why are they wasting our time with trivialities like nukes and beheadings when we have to deal with the momentuous issues of panties and cartoons!

Big government, big labor and big business. That's pretty close to my definition of fascism. The French aren't communist, and that leaves a (slightly) more rightward leaning socialism.

Only the Left and " officials " are licking Muslim's buts
The average European hate them
If one day Muslim's lose the government protection they have now there will be a lot of blood running down the streets

...why did Jacques Chirac gloat in such a medieval manner?, it wrote." Odd, they admit knowing medieval history?
I've always thought these backwards mullah types still live in that time period. Now, with the reference to the medieval period, there's evidence they know about it.

Wasn't much of a gift if you think about it...

We have protesters rioting today over cartoons published back in September. This is staying pretty current for them. Normally, they stay pretty worked up over things that happened centuries ago.

I would guard against any British or NZ-originated anti-French materials. Much of it is just rehashed ancient Anglo-French feud - the British have their own axe to grind with the French. We as outsiders must criticize France's positions with principles.
