Informed sources have confirmed that Pat's next "visionary" column will be comprised solely of the lyrics to "The Horst Wessel Song," repeated over and over and over again.

I am afraid Buchanan's mind is too tired to read something like a State of the Union speech. He must be working hard on his next book to pay close attention to anything that mattered.
To: SteveMcKing
I'm hardly a 'bandwagon republican', a 'bushbot' or a Neocon. I was born conservative and never even flirted with liberalism.
Buchanan may still be a 'conservative' in some ways, and 15 years ago he might have been a Good Conservative.... But now he is a complete loon.
I considered supporting him for President in the '92 election, but the closer I looked at him, the less I liked him. He was turning a little weird then, soon went 'round the bend' and has progressed to the full barking moonbat stage that he has been in the last few years.
He may occasionally be correct on a few things, but I thank God that he never got elected to any national office.

He's not doing Reaganites any favors, that's for sure!

Interesting. Those who think Buchannan is a moonbat, will gave differing views within the next five years. World governments have different approaches in how they manage their economies.
Film at 11... several years from now.

Pat Buchanan has been right, and is still right, about many things.

Pat REALLY needs to shut up and just go away. The more he spouts off, the more ridiculous and utterly irrelevant he proves himself to be.

I can't believe anyone still hires this fool. I skipped the crappy article and went right to the insighful Freeper commentary. I'm feeling waves of Freeper mega-love for Buchanan.

The standard of living, in America, from Lincoln through dear old Silent Cal, was not only NOT the highest in the world, it wasn't anywhere near as good, as it is today! Facts matter and Pat stated none.
To: SteveMcKing
Pat Buchanan is NOT a Conservative; "true" or otherwise!
What Pat is, is a Pali loving, Jew hating, historical revisionist, who is also a bitter and befuddled old man.
And no, NEOCON doesn't and NEVER has referred to Reagan Democrats. Do, please, get your facts straight, before you post such blatant errors.
To: Vn_survivor_67-68
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is so great about "industrial jobs" anyway? The era of "high paying industrial jobs" only lasted from the late 1940s until the early 1970s Pat!
Pat is looking more and more like the cranky old guy who hangs around the K of C who nobody listens to, but who you can't kick out because he paid for life membership years ago.

You're so right.....
I can almost see the psychedelic bus, loaded with freepers wearing their Tie-Die T-Shirts and putting flowers in their hair heading to the Buchanan Love Festival '06.
