More European papers defy Muslim protests

More newspapers across Europe today reprinted the 12 cartoons of the prophet Muhammad that have sparked protests across the Middle East - although most refrained from publishing them on their websites. Earlier this week hackers attacked the website of Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten, which first published the controversial pictures last September, and the site became unavailable for a time.
When the website reappeared it published a statement in Danish, Arabic and English stating that the cartoons "were not intended to be offensive, nor were they at variance with Danish law, but they have indisputably offended many Muslims for which we apologise".
However, the newspaper did not apologise for publishing the cartoons in the first place.
The Swiss daily Le Temps today printed a selection of the drawings.
In an editorial, Patricia Briel argued that "freedom of the press and freedom of speech are fundamental achievements made by democratic societies, and the latter do not have to bow in the face of demands that endanger these hard-won principles.

Has anyone tried to access the November 10th Johnny Hart cartoon of B.C.? I understand that Muslims got upset with that one and in trying to access it, all sites have removed it. Does this mean some are beginning to cave in to the muslim demands in this nation?
Brit Hume showed the cartoons on Fox tonite.
Some network reports (including Fox, I believe) mention that fake cartoons are being circulated in the Middle East, stuff much more insulting to Mohammed than the originals. Does anybody have a link to those?
They just want to sell more papers to folks who wish that that they could grow a spine.
Anyone have the picture of him with the goat?
Awesome. I wish I had the search ability that so many others have.
