And it's being completely ignored. One of only 17 Republicans to vote with Charles Rangle, Nancy Pelsoi, Shiela Jackson Lee, Maxine Waters, Henry Waxmanm, etc. on a immigration/terrorism bill.
Is anyone even curious as to why????
Yes, I am curious. Would like to know what other Freepers think of this guy.

Shadegg was the most conservative of the 3, but McCain supported him cause they're both from AZ, rather than philosophical kinshipJeff Flake supported Shadegg for the same reason. The Arizona Republic endorsed Shadegg, because Flake said so, and McCain said so.

Boehner better learn real quick that Pence and RSC are DONE with BIG GOVERNMENT Republicanism.Otherwise he will suffer the same fate as Blunt and Delay.Wow, way to show your ignorance right from the get go.
Boehner closed the House Bank, was part of the Contract for America, and is a fiscal conservative.

Boehner on the issues Glad you posted that link - rated 0% by NARAL, 7% by the ACLU, and "A" by the NRA.
That is my kind of Congressman.

I had questions about John Boehner at first and have some new concerns about his voting recrod. He voted against HR4437, the Border Protection, Antiterrorism, and Illegal Immigration Control Act.
The RSC is the cosnervative wing of the House GOP. I really wanted Shadegg to win. That might have set things up for a run at Speaker for Mike Pence.
Interesting stuff.

Regarding 2nd Amendment issues, he's a good choice but I'm expecting that your legislators and mine are going to have contenders with hispanic surnames names very shortly.
Was your hubby get anywhere near the chemical plant explosion the other day?

Shays is a moron. Blunt was the candidate most linked to K Street, DeLay, Abramoff, etc. And Shays' acting like he is squeaky clean sickens me.
Boehner is a good choice. I actually preferred Shadegg, but Boehner is fine.
To: Howlin
Relativly speaking he is. BUT.Why isnt he in the RSC????
Why did he write NCLB with Ted Kennedy?? Why does he support open borders?

From what I can see, it's just that one vote on the hospitals that could be questionable, and frankly, I don't know what the bill said.
