U.S. troops fire on Cdn diplomats' car
By BETH GORHAM
WASHINGTON (CP) - Four Canadian diplomats, including the charge d'affaires to Iraq, escaped injury Tuesday when their vehicle was shot at in Baghdad by U.S. soldiers.
"We are aware of this incident and the American and Canadian authorities are looking into it," said a spokeswoman at the Canadian Embassy in neighbouring Jordan, who declined to be identified further in line with embassy policy. She said all four, including charge d'affaires Stewart Henderson, were travelling in one vehicle.

Reads like the minimal amount of force was used; the story also lacks a reason why the driver failed to yield. Note to generals in the area: put sticky notes on Canadian cars - when guys with American flags on their shoulders say stop, they mean it.

ooh! sounds important!! They are only there to grab contracts and make deals for the spoils of war that they did not participate in and do not deserve.

in the second article it said they were not supposed to try to over take the American vehicle because of possible landmines either, that is what they were doing, trying to pass. lol

The Canucks are at fault here. We all know it. Not sure what the drivers were thinking. I'd be firing them immediately for their arrogance ... or their stupidity.

Everyone relax nobody told the troops that Harper won in Canada. I am sure they have been told and will not fire on them again ;)
