WELCOME
to the first, RNC officially sanctioned, CYBER GOP House Party for the President's STATE of the UNION speech!

There are 1375 Parties nationwide, and WE are the biggest and the best! Tonight, President Bush, in his STATE of the UNION speech, will discuss America's leadership in the world and share his vision to lead America forward. To seize opportunities here at home, the President will outline the policies needed for the American people to continue to compete in the global economy.

Earlier today, the President sat with Supreme Court nominee, Samuel Alito in the Roosevelt Room at the White House, and watched the Senate confirmation vote as they approved his nomination 58-42, fulfilling one of President Bush's most significant campaign pledges by placing on the Supreme Court another justice who will interpret the Constitution as the Founders intended, and not legislate from the bench. THANK you, President Bush! (Justice Alito was sworn in at 12:07 this afternoon as the 110th Supreme Court Justice)

President Bush also released a statement regarding the death of widow of Civil Rights Leader Martin Luther King, Jr, Coretta Scott King and met with TV reporters in the White House to give them a glimpse of his State of the Union, emphasizing his optimism for the future of America. He also continued to work on this speech for tonight.

The economy is strong, we are winning our War on Terror and it is a GOOD DAY in America, and a GREAT time to be a Bush-bot!

Enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose............ let's PARTY!!!!!!!!!

Here are your party favors! Please share..........

He's one of those, "Yeah, BUT....." kinds of people.

That's the most concise and accurate description of Kristol I've ever seen :)

Glad you see what I see.

I live in California, home of a genuinely Marxist legislature.

In the mid-1990's I worked for a company that has since gone out of business. One of my coworkers there was a guy who had once worked for the Sierra Club. His parents are wealthy. In 1997 they took a trip to Red China. The one thing their privileged American son wanted them to bring back for him was a Chinese military cap with the Red Star.

They did, and he used to wear it to work. None of the managers made him take it off or not wear it on company property.

Read and gag over the AP report
THE ASSOCIATED PRESS BECOMES THE HUFFINGTON POST [JPod]
Just out on the newswire:

State of the Union? Skittish and agitated
By RON FOURNIER AP Political Writer
WASHINGTON (AP) - The state of the union is fretful. President Bush acknowledged the public's agitated state Tuesday night when he gave voice to growing concerns about the course of the nation he has led for five years. His credibility no longer the asset it once was, the president begged Americans' indulgence for another chance to fix things....

Well...it has been a fun evening.

I need to get out of here and on to other things.

But I just wanted you all to know that I am happy to be part of all of this. And I am enormously proud of the President. We are truly blessed.

Good night and see you tomorrow...ish. ; )

We just have to make sure it's the right kind of Republican.

Agreed.

Ron Fournier wa transferred from Little Rock to Washington when Clinton was elected. He is a little dweb Rat who cannot write a positive story of President Bush if his life depended on it.

I will. Keep your fingers crossed, okay? (And pray.) I'm pretty sure everything will work out the way I want it to but sometimes I get nervous.

Brooke was one of those NASCAR babes when she met Jeff. She sank her claws in deep too.

Jeff was like 19 or 20 years old, and just beginning to make his own way in the world when he met her. He was smitten. She moved him away from his friends and family. Claws is right.

I like Kristol's politics, and he makes many good points, but he just comes across as a jerk because he knows so much more that everyone else in the world.
