There are 1375 Parties nationwide, and WE are the biggest and the best! Tonight, President Bush, in his STATE of the UNION speech, will discuss America's leadership in the world and share his vision to lead America forward. To seize opportunities here at home, the President will outline the policies needed for the American people to continue to compete in the global economy.
Earlier today, the President sat with Supreme Court nominee, Samuel Alito in the Roosevelt Room at the White House, and watched the Senate confirmation vote as they approved his nomination 58-42, fulfilling one of President Bush's most significant campaign pledges by placing on the Supreme Court another justice who will interpret the Constitution as the Founders intended, and not legislate from the bench. THANK you, President Bush! (Justice Alito was sworn in at 12:07 this afternoon as the 110th Supreme Court Justice)
President Bush also released a statement regarding the death of widow of Civil Rights Leader Martin Luther King, Jr, Coretta Scott King and met with TV reporters in the White House to give them a glimpse of his State of the Union, emphasizing his optimism for the future of America. He also continued to work on this speech for tonight.
The economy is strong, we are winning our War on Terror and it is a GOOD DAY in America, and a GREAT time to be a Bush-bot!
Enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose............ let's PARTY!!!!!!!!!
He is a Great man, and I am So Proud to Call him my President!
Is THAT what they were cheering....status quo of SS? I couldn't understand that...
Someone should have stuck an apple in the mouth of the idiot who came up with the name "Lame Duck."
An awesome speech. Absolutely wonderful, great, a home run for sure.
I LOVE this President. He is truly a decent man.

What an incredibly powerful and POSITIVE end to an inspiring speech!
YES
Yeah!!! Two wins then...the President was a winner for sure!
Great speech! Woohoo! There is Elizabeth Dole right with him - a very faithful quiet supporter. Wish she were allowed to be seen and heard more.
My Mom was cracking up at watching me, watch W. She said my Grandfather would be proud. I was saying ...GET UP - give it up for the President...STAND people STAND!
They were cheering because they managed to block any reforms to SS when they all know it's almost bankrupt.....idiots
You did such a fabulous job tonight. Especially appreciated since the computer is in one room and the TV in another! Thanks!
Good Job Mr. President.
Never surrender. Keep going. Hang in there.
It's the big ideas that make the difference.
Do you get FOX or are you watching on the net?
LOL - I stood several times and CHEERED! It felt great!
And W just turned up the heat :)
What a fantastic speech! He used the left like props and I don't think they even realize it--BWAHAHAHA!
We will miss this great leader like few we ever have in 2009. Despite how the Pollsters tilt their polls, History will show this man as one of the greratest leaders ever, right up there with Lincoln and Reagan
If anyone from the White House reads this.....We love our President!!!
Too right! I wish we had him for 4 more years!
I love those fireworks!!!
