This could be ominous. Standard proceedure for Islamists is to ask for a voluntary conversion before attacking. Bin Laden was actually chastised by some radical Imams for not being more explicit about this before 9/11.
GW needs to appoint a cabinet level pastor/evangelist to take the Word of God to the muslims. That ought to rock Dingy Harry and the Democrats!

Zawahiri should convert to Christianity...while he still can.
A truce offer, and now an invitation to George W. Bush to convert to Islam. They're either:
A. Completely nuts, moreso than they've always been
B. Trying to create the impression that they have an ace in the hole
C. Or they actually do have something big looming, and are attempting to be merciful before the point of no return.
I tend to go with both A and B, myself. They're going to be sweating security up in Detroit bigtime though.
