Sure was, if Souter wasn't there it would have made a great pic.
That's Breyer, not Souter.

Can we determine which demorat party "disappointments" were pre written well in advance?
BRIT HUME HOW DISAPPOINTING!
You missed totally on the third way references!
You missed totally on the increased taxes!
You missed totally that non-partisanship was really a call to abandon republicans for democrats.
You missed totally the play with the "ic" in democratic to imply the republicans were not democratic.
You just plain missed how flat the response was. This could have been given after ANY SotU speech of ANY candidate.
I am really offended Hume missed the whole trying to "speek" red state. Seriously did he even see Lackoff? and how the democrats are all set with programed talking points?

Perhaps we all should agree to watch MsNBC next time he gives one of these. Shut commentary on the FOX panel out. They have become so damn predictable in their pans of these speeches, always in election years especially so. MsNBC typically more upbeat.

I didnt even watch, and I tuned him completely out once he started the eternally empty "there's a better way".
The President really fired me up with the renewed energy point - we can't continue to fund the very people who support the people who attack us.

That gives me 67/80 possible on this speech. Very Very good
67 out of 80 is only 83.75%-- Round up to 84%...a "B-" in most schools. Hardly "Very , Very Good".
I didn't watch the speech, so I couldn't say if your individual grades are on the mark or not. But by your standards, I'd have to conclude that the speech was just a bit above ordinary.

LOL... even Chrissy and Feinstien are making fun of Cindy and laughing at her.
If I have time, I'll put together a 'best of' clip and post it later or tomorrow.
