Sure did not slow us down much this last time. I suspect that the persons that ratted him last time are still alive, yet in someone elses custody. He will be readily located by following the trail of bodies. This is problematic for him and the other remaining leadership. Family and tribal bonds have been fractured because of the mistrust, and permanent silencing of suspected traitors.

I wonder if we are trying to figure out who in Al-Qaeda is delivering these tapes to Al-Jazeera. Maybe we can play 6 degree's of separation from Bin Laden, or Zawahiri, etc. Al-Jazeera is in that link somewhere.

If you ask me, the timing of this video is going to prove fatal to Zawahiri.

Yup. The compressed time line from production to delivery gives away a treasure trove of info. And, in his haste to prove we missed him, I'll bet he bypassed some of his usual failsafes in the supply chain to Al-Jazeera.

Al-Jaqueera knows exactly where he's at because this was produced at one of their "independent" film production companies. Time to take them out! All wasn't a failure because we took out 4 of his confidants.

First these are delivered right to al Jazeera. Most oftenly these tapes are dropped off at some "hide location"....it is after this drop-off that al Jazeera (and their like) are contacted and told "where to go to find this tape".

These locations change every time.

But of course we are looking into ways to back-channel these - With the best way being catching one of the couriers in route (with the tape). Which means when you hear things such as "UBL hasn't released a tape in over a year"....that doesn't necessarily mean he hasn't tried to...(but it was recovered along the way...prior to it making it out).
