Good Monday morning, fellow Freeper political junkies. One of the more ridiculous episodes of political theater is about to play itself out on the Senate floor, as the John Kerry-led democrats mount an exercise in political futility which will further expose their total irrelevance..So join us today, or drop in on occasion, for the festivities...
They can't leave because they don't have gas money! And mom is using the van.
Inhofe:
Former General in Iraqi Army I've met with, named Sada. He's written a book Saddam's Secret. He tells us that WMD were taken to Syria.
We knew there were WMD because Saddam killed over 200,000 people with chemical weapons. What was important were the things we knew when we went into Iraq.
The three major terrorist training camps were located in Iraq. We broke those camps.
The president inherited:
downgraded military
national security challenge
international terrorism
recession
Listing terroist acts in the 90's.
Inhofe:
The Clinton administration's response to those terrorist attacks was cruise missile strikes during the Lewinsky scandal so no one paid attention to the strikes.
You are fortunate on the cholesterol. No, you are blessed...just like my better half who loves nothing more than gravy covering everything on his plate and adds salt to potato chips - he has perfect cholesterol.
But ps: you should get it checked
It was best described by someone as a filibluster.
WOO HOO Senator Inhofe is on a roll
WMD. He is NOT going to let it go. GOOD. I am tired of this part of history being written before it is even settled.
Inhofe:
I wrote a question to the Clinton administration and asked how long it would be before North Korea has nuclear capability.
They called and told me it would be 5-7 years. They didn't put it in writing because they didn't think that was a good idea.
Within a few days, we found out N. Korea had the capability already.
(I'm paraphrasing)
The 6th problem the president inherited was an intelligence breakdown. I can't blame democrats for this. It's been around for a long time.
Same here. But where have these guys been all this time while the President has been pounded for months and seemed to stand alone.
They claimed a moral victory after the 2004 elections, too. Now that they've redefined winning, they're guaranteed to continue their incredible streak. I wish them every success.
Woo hoo is RIGHT! Inhofe is DYNAMITE! I love it! Telling it like it is!
I use sea salt and I go out of my way to avoid all foods with white flour and I never eat white sugar.
The exceptions are the biscuits and saw mill gravy from Cracker Barrel. Now that we dine there only twice a month, I have not gained any weight like I did the first few months when we ate there every other day...lol.
Inhofe:
Turf battles between the alphabet agencies. No coordination. So I got on the intelligence committee and we tried to correct problems and were unsuccessful.
NSA showed us a new listening device that could hear through 2 feet of concrete. I said "Oh, that's great. We could use this in NYC and they told me no, that's ours."
The 7th thing the president inherited is the problem of China.
The first thing that Clinton/Gore did was go to our energy labs and tear down the security systems. They got rid of the color coded badges. They got rid of background checks. We lost to China our WA warhead capability which was a device whihc would allow us to have nuclear capability to one single warhead. The Chinese got that.
The Loral Corp. - guided technology - were precluded from sending it to other countries. But Clinton signed a waiver so Loral could sell to the Chinese so they could be more accurate to use their missiles.
I'm sure it wasn't a mistake that the chair of Loral was the largest single contributor to the Clinton administration.
OMG OMG OMG
so what's your vibe as to why the Dems didn't mount some last minute anita hill style smear campaign?
You betcha! Clinton101. A primer for the CLinton years.
LOL .. now Inhofe is bring up Chinagate
Inhofe:
Second or 3rd State of the Union Clinton said, and it was documented, there were 13 to 18 of our cities that were targeted at our cities. But Clinton stood at the State of the Union, pointed his finger and said "Not one missile is targeted to our cities".
This guy sound like a Freeper.
