What I worry about is...Specter and McCain are already foaming at the mouth to get the hearings up and running on this NSA thing...and you add "Reps" like Hagel to the mix...and this is gonna be worse than the 9/11 hearings...

AND, more dangerous, because we are STILL AT WAR...and these idiots want our intelligence gathering supposed "secrets" laid out in the public for the world to see...and in the process spank the CIC!!!

The President is on CBS today? He's a more forgiving man than most.

He's a smart man. It's the way it must be done...if possible face your enemies face to face. Show all of them; your enemies...your guts, honesty, and so forth. I'm glad to see him giving the real side of it all. With all the lies continually spewing from the left, this administration must put forth the truth. Who best to do that but President Bush.

It's not foreign surveillance either. And to the charge of it being domesitc, I think a good response is "So what? If the terrorists are in the country, should we stop listening?"

According to the libs .. we shouldn't be

According to the libs .. it's ok for terrorists to plot and murder Americans within our borders

They have have rights you know .... / sac >

What I saw: leading questions from Schieffer, simple answers from Bush. I felt it was staged to put the Pres in a bad light. The same old pandering to the libs. The same kind of set-up as the debates. Just my view.

One thing I found interesting was how much GWB reminded me of his Dad.

Another thing: Due to the quality of the video on the website, it may come across differently.

You're dead wrong. I've criticized Bush on many occasions, but he held his own and came off as the down-to-earth, humble and honest nice guy that he is.

You may well have something here regarding detachment that may well be what Bill Frist does when the going gets a bit tough.

If you ever wanted proof NATION is a commie rag, just listen to Katrina.

YaYa,

A fella I work with believes that "The Nation" is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the the truth. The guy walks around with the latest copy of the rag tucked under his arm. He had it sitting on the counter near me one day when I told him it was a distraction and I picked it up and moved it. Perhaps I should not have touched another's property but it was a distraction. His reply was I "can't stand the truth".

Later we had a discussion about Wal Mart, one of his favorite targets. He told me that I had been "trained" real well. I asked him who trained me? I asked him if it is possible for a conservative to read and understand both sides of an issue and make the "right" choice? The guy is just so far out on the left that he really believes that conservatives are "trained" but progressives are enlightened (he hates the term liberal).

Due to our rotating shifts I don't work with him that often. When the opportunity does happen, I love to tug his little pecker head brain.

On Sunday, February 22nd, 1998, Sandy Hume, the 28 year old son of journalist Britt Hume, was reportedly found dead in his Arlington, Virginia home. Aside from the statement that this was an "apparent" suicide, there remains in place a total media blackout on this story, possibly out of concern that the actual facts will not withstand public scrutiny. Worked for Hill magazine, about Congress for Congress.

The facts that would "not withstand public scrutiny" allegedly involved a homosexual affair with a congressman who suddenly left the House.

WoW...hopefully, Lynn Swann will pick up that and use that to help his campaign...

Do you think Fast Eddie will fight it?

Also...will that have any impact on Santorum's election?
