It seems that the Iraq WMD controversy is about to crack open once more.

I doubt it. The media will bury this if it can.

Clearly, if Saddam Hussein moved his WMD's to Syria, he had no WMD's when we invaded Iraq, and so Bush lied and people died.

Clearly.

The media will ignore this until something negative can be found on Sada. If it takes a few days to do this, fine. If it takes a few months, that's fine too. Until something can be found to undermine the credibility of Sada, this story will be totally blacked out by the MSM.

Once information is found to smear Sada, the MSM will go wall-to-wall with it. The original story will only be mentioned to the extent necessary to discredit it.

If WMD's were found in a Syrian forest, would the MSM interrupt their Oscar reporting to make a sound?

Supposedly the details will be released in three weeks on Febraury 18th, ala Jon Loftus at IntellSummit.org.

Now Sada has written a book, and America’s enemies are watching to see how U.S. officials react. In other words, Sada’s testimony is a kind of indicator. If it is used by the administration to vindicate the Iraq invasion, then it follows that President Bush is ready to move against Syria and Iran. But if President Bush and his advisors ignore Sada’s testimony, it is a sign that the administration is worn out by criticism and incapable of smashing America’s enemies.

Very insightful comment.

The administration has known what happened to the WMD's all along. Most Freepers have known too. The MSM COULD HAVE known, and some of them certainly did. (However, since ignorance runs pretty deep with the MSM, some of them are probably as clueless as they seem.)

So, if we assume that the location of the WMD's was known all along, but not publicized, the logical conclusion is that we did not WANT to comment publicly. The Bush administration paid a very heavy price for this decision, so it would be very interesting to know exactly why...

Gen. Georges Sada claims that Saddam Hussein moved weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) to Syria prior to the American invasion.

Is there any way you could pass this info along to your leftist pals - just to calm them down?

Well, for those of who have believed the WMD went to Syria, this cannot be bad news. I heard General Sada on Hannity's radio show last week. I am glad he's talking to a couple of Senators, maybe they will call for full Senate hearings and have General Sada testify. That certainly would help din the roar of the "where are the WMD" mantra of the left.

If the WMDs are in Syria, we should attack it and destroy those weapons.

These things are not necessarily so.

They could ignore Sada because Sada could be wrong, whether intentionally or unintentionally.

My personal belief is that the weapons were moved to Lebanon, but Qaddafi got scared and gave them up saying they were his.

Interesting. Seems the general is trying to shill for his book, but because his supposition supports the administration, it's accepted as fact. I'll wait hourly to see how much even Fox 'News' covers this 'breaking story'. Wonder if they'll be accused of being part of the MSM now when they won't pick up this literal hogwash either...

.

It takes time for 52 flights of a air cargo freighter 747 to transfer WMD's from Iraq to Syria.

It takes just as much time for us to have to go to the UN first before invading Iraq.

T'was HILLARY, KERRY & TED KENNEDY's constant media calls for BUSH to go to the UN first before acting that gave SADDAM time to load and fly 52 747's over to Syria.

T'is HILLARY, KERRY & TED KENNEDY who are now calling for a Senate fillibuster against Supreme Court nominee ALITO.

The enemy is now within...
and always has been.
