Sorry about the snarkiness quotient, but is there anything these folks can't screw up -- and then refuse to own up to? Iraq is the most difficult to judge because it's so far away. I can find no indication -- from hours of electricity available to amount of oil being pumped to number of dead people -- that hints at any improvement.
On the other hand, even though I don't think it's my job, I can't prove that pulling out won't make things worse. Judging the good news-bad news volume from Iraq took such an exceptional lurch to ludicrous, it's now difficult to even try to judge it with a straight face.

It's fun to just throw bombs the way she does, but seeing how she got in trouble for saying we killed more people in Iraq than Saddam did, this comepletely irrelevent woman needs to do a little homework. When she says things like she can't see any improvement in terms of the number of Iraqis dying, you can only pity the poor person.

Not only do we have an electoral process working in Iraq, the number of bodies stuffed into mass graves has plummetted, the numbers of women kidnapped and raped by Uday adn Qusay is nil, the number of people being fed into woodchippers while their children watch is zero, the collapse of the Lybian Nuke program...but I guess she's right: It does matter how long the lights are on.

This is President who will be a failure in the eyes of history only if he succeeds. If he fails and terrorists plant an A bomb inside a major city, how will he look? Very Churchillian if you ask me. He will look like sombody who was forward thinking and actually tried to prevent a disaster before it happened while everyone else twiddled thier thumbs.
