If I said what I thought about the liberal justices I'd be banned from FR. Her statement was putting it mildly.

Damn, Souter and Breyer are too young(late 60's) to pass away..I don't worry about Ginsburg and Stevens though..they are both old and sick

Watch the MSM eat her alive for that though.
To: LouAvul
Bad taste. She shouldn't have gone there, even as a "joke."

Now someone has to post a picture of Justice Stevens in something skimpy.

It's really not funny to joke about killing people.
To: LouAvul
I'm presuming she's said this deliberately to illustrate how the media will magnify this story because a conservative is saying it, while they've let so many liberals off the hook in the past for saying similar and worse.
I'm interested to see how much furor will arise from this.

She's a smart woman, but that's one dumb-ass and inappropriate comment.

Pundits joking about killing or wishing death upon fellow Americans, even if liberal is not wise.
To: LouAvul
Ann, that was really stupid. Statements like this make us sound no better than the lunatic liberals who "joke" about the President being assassinated. What an idiot.

Quite a few of us would probaly agree with her, but I'm not too sure that was the thing to say in front of a college crowd, even though she qualified it as a "joke for you in the press." Why give the MSM free target practice at her?

If it was a joke it wasn't a funny one. It was a very stupid thing to say.

Calling something a joke doesn't make it one. Sorry, bad call on her part.

Sometimes a joke isn't really a joke. She's been acting wacky since she had that row with NR after 9/11

"We need somebody to put rat poisoning in Justice Stevens' creme brulee," Coulter said. "That's just a joke, for you in the media." It's a joke in very poor taste. Then again, maybe I should express my disdain for her remarks with a little joke of my own:
I wish someone would feed Ann; I think the anorexia is affecting her brain.
That's funny, right Ann?
To: LouAvul
Ann needs to take a deep breath.
This statement is an embarrassment. It embarrasses her and those who support her. If a leftist made such a remark about Alito, she would be all over that.
Ann needlessly alienates more people than she persuades, which is too bad. Red meat to the red states is always fun, but ultimately she would serve everyone including herself better if she would not turn off those who still remain to be persuaded.
