They might consider purging the party of its prevailing idiots and moving to a more reasonable position on most issues, thus likely gaining a few seats and a lot more legitimate power.
At some point, reasonable Democrats are going to have to take over. It's not good for the country or even for the Republican party to have a weak and often silly opposition.

What are they going to change Alito to? Iran? No way. Americans are behind W. on this. Domestic spying? HAH! Americans see through this charade, too. One BIG THING this tells me though - She is SCARED of Kerry in 08.
Mrs. Bill Clinton is a one term, junior Senator from New York, with only her prior experience as First Battleaxe alongside Emperor Billigula, and a failed healthcare plan 'initative' that ended up as a partial-policy-abortion at the very end.
She has nothing of value to say, and anything she says or does is merely a manifestation of her own insane hunger for personal political power, which will only increase as her levels of estrogen continue to dwindle.
