The best defense is the offense.

Just like bogus counter claims thrown against Boeing by Airbus in its defense for the subsidies they get - a counter accusation causes people to question things, it creates confusion if nothing else. Create a "he said - she said" situation and hide the lie or injustice behind the clutter which serves the purpose of getting the pressure off. Look at O'Reily and Cashman. The public pressure with this case as with the boarder crossing maps distributed by Mexican authorities is intense and by throwing out counter claims you "confuse" the public. That's the purpose of BS comebacks.

All we need to do is put up a few drones with hellfire missiles. We don't even need whole bodies to do DNA. With DNA proof maybe the morons south of the boarder will see the light. Then again maybe we should order 200 new drones and a couple thousand new hellfires.
We were invaded by military personnel of a foreign land. This is serious! We need to defend our borders with all of our military ordnance. The Mexicans do not respect us or our borders anymore that is obvious. After we kill a few of them maybe they will change their minds. It might be cheaper to hire a couple dozen mercenary sniper teams and pay them a bounty. That would slow down the illegal drug traffic on our southern border.

Sounds like a cover up. Why would American soldiers be sneaking on to the American side and then flee back to the Mexican side when spotted?

Not to side with the idiot Mexican Foreign Secretary who alleged these were US troops, but JTF-6 was operating on the borders in the 90's. Ft. Bliss is also very near the US-Mexican border in El Paso.

This thread's head article does not accurately portray Monday's Confrontation, in fact the Mexican Military were guarding the Cartel vehicles as they were off loaded of narcotics. A Texas Sherrif KNOWS what the Mexican military looks like! Hear it right from the Sheriff's own mouth:

I'm expecting for Jerkoff "Bagdad Bob" Chertoff to endorse the Mexican point of view at any moment. Obviously this is all overblown and our American soldiers must have made a navigation error and crossed the border by accident. While they were there they thought it would be neighborly to help the friendly people tow one of their vehicles across that river (were not sure what the river was called) and to help them unload some bales of hay out of one of them when it got stuck. There were also some unfriendly folks chasing them so they scared them off by waving their .50 calibers at them. No big deal. No harm no foul. Our borders are totally secure. Mexicans are our friends and allies. The best way to fix up all the differences would be just to make all of the nice good-hearted people into legal guests. /sarc
