They are armed bandits. They should be shot on sight.

Well if they are not Mexican Military then the Mexican Govt. Shouldn't care if they are shot on site. If they are found to be Mexican military - well, we've got a little problem....

I suppose you'll be the first to volunteer for the occupying army?

This is just one more outrage serving as a prime example of the need for both heavy fortifications and troops on the entirety of our borders.

BTW, your January 19 entry on your own blog is excellent. In so many words, I try and make the same case to anyone who is too myopic or shortsighted as to see the forest for the trees. That the hatred for anything conservative-including military force-is so strong that they can't do some simple extrapolations as to what we will be facing if we lose is scary. Your scenario is quite plausible indeed.

"Yes and if Mexico doesn't respect the border, we should replace their government with one that does."

Not as long as Prez Bush is in the White House.

You probably are already a member of a militia (milita faq)

What it boils down to is this: Title 10, Section 311 states that all able-bodied men between 17 and 45 (exceptions Title 32, Section 313) who are, or intend to become citizens of the U.S. Also any citizen female who has joined the National Guard.

Well at last, there was a decent interview of a reporter that has been investigating these incursions for quite awhile and a well-spoken former SAIC FBI agent Crawford who has documented similar incidents. He said he didn't want to be accused of dropping the ball on his watch while he was SAIC in the El Paso district.

Given my experience in the border country, these two were very credible sounding. They believe that the uniformed and armed thugs were indeed Mex Army (Ejercito Federal) personnel in league with drug smugglers, probably as a security detail.

One Mex vehicle, a Humvee type (if not a real Humvee) was reportedly armed with a .50 machine gun, either the reporting Hudspeth Cty deputy was hyping the details or knows his weapons.

Seems that TX Troopers are the ones who gave chase but also in my experience, they often took the credit for a lot of hard work of other agency's officers, more facts need to be verified but until then--REPEL THE INVADERS and shoot to kill. After all, Mexico denies that they were Mex Army, 'nuff said, get to work boys...

A better example is Pancho Villa.

The actions of the Mexican Government today prohibiting military within 2 km of the border will seperate military from pseudomilitary/rogue military. This action defused the international military activity and reduced the incursions to criminal activity.

It is now open season on anyone crossing the border with vehicles and guns.

.....Better yet, Where is General Zachary Taylor!?....

He screwed around.

Winfield Scott in a combined arms operation invaded the Yucataan and captured Mexico city and the Halls of Montezuma.

With your background, is it reasonable to believe that NO ONE kept a video camera in their vehicle? That none of this was recorded?

I didn't understand all of that. Does this only apply to general aviation or does it also include commercial flights and delivery planes like UPS?

our officers should engage the armed actors

When you have only a .40 Glock and the enemy has a .50GMB, engaging the enemy is not a wise or healthy idea. Better to call in an air strike.

Bush has been avoiding this issue for far too long. The Emperor's New Clothes routine is exposed. The jig is up. All Americans are sick of illegals pouring into our country everyday, and yes, Mr. President, U.S. citizens of Hispanic origin are equally angry about it, so you won't offend them for fulfilling your constitutional duty.

WAKE UP and do something about it!!!
