Why aren't they honest enough to just come out and say "I'm voting against him because I'm afraid of what might happen to abortion."

I'll take a Santorum or a Specter over a mouth-breathing Democrat any day.
Casey is clearly wrong, but Specter and Santorum are a damn sight better.

Precisely. There is no excuse for electing RINO's in red states, but in a state like PA -- you take what you can get. And you can be sure that it will be a long time before anyone more conservative than Santorum is elected to the Senate in PA.
To: Conservative Goddess
Santorum was also supposedly pro-life...but when push came to shove.......he supported and actively campaigned for openly pro-abort Arlen Specter: Would that be the same Arlen Specter who has shepherded Bush's two most recent court nominees through the senate?

I have to admit that I haven't payed much attention to that "scandal"....I can only deal with so many at one time..
which is going to hopefully play in the GOP hands...
I am sure that if political junkies like ME are on "scandal overload"...then the "regular Americans" will just shut them out...when ever they accuse Bush of anything wrong.
At least I hope so...
RE: that Rummy report...I will spend some time reading up on it before I make any more comments...I just don't know enough yet.
To: Conservative Goddess
I call a spade a spade....Okay, I will, too; I think you're a plant, here to divide the voters of PA.
even if it's a Republican Spade.
Me, on the other hand, I'm not so sure you're a Republican.
