What would you think if Scarborough joined the race? I am just curious. He sold his soul a long time ago, now he's just some cookie-cutter BO'Reilly wannabe.

The entertainment industry can keep him. I never watched his show.

If they go with UC, won't they lose all their far-left support? They're all slavering for a filibuster. I guess if enough of the D's say they're going to vote for Alito that a filibuster would fail, the others could get away with voting for UC, but the ones who announced that they were intending to vote yes would be toast.
Looks like they're toast any way you wanna slice it. Damn the luck.

C-SPAN has Boxer in the "No" column . . .I reckon in the land of Gomer Pyle that's an earth-shattering revelation.
To: Conservative Goddess
Screaming doesn't help? Then they decide that you've already made up your mind and you lose your strategic position as a good vote.

I'm finding Hatch great and hilarious at the same time A few years ago he said something like the DEMs should "repent of their wicked ways." He used those words. I'll see if I can find it. Hatch can be a real hoot.

I feel stupid asking, guess I should know the answer... but what is so bad at Santorum that you would vote for anyone with a D next to his/her name? I can't stand McCain, but I voted for him last year... it boils down the reason it was so important to get President Bush re-elected... majority in Senate to protect who we get on the Supreme Court.

He's like O'Reilly and Greta VS had a baby.
(and it wasn't cute)

LOL! I loved it when he tore up at Schumer in the first Roberts hearings in 2003 or 2002 and he told Schumer to stop asking dumb@$$ questions. LOL!

Boxer thought this vote over very carefully, using all five of her brain cells.

Wow, Kerry just said the President Bush was Constitutionally required to get Congresses consent before removing Miers' nomination and "installing" Alito. Of course, we know that Miers removed herself. And is now going after Anne Coulter. Fits the pattern - most of the Dim in this Senate want GWB to get permission before he does anything. When did the President cease being a co-equal part of the three branches of Government?

So, C-SPAN has Boxer in the "No" column. As if there was any doubt which way she was going to vote. The biggest surprise was Leaky and Bucket o' Kohl voting for Roberts.
