Good morning once again, all you fellow political junkies. Put on a fresh pot of coffee, put the sticky buns in the oven, put a fresh battery in the remote control, and join us for the latest episode of the world's greatest daytime soap opera, "As the Democrats Bloviate." Yup, once again, it's that time...

Nelson (NB)
Something has seriously affected Senator Santorum. He is not the same passionate person who we watched several years ago. I wonder is he senses that he is going to lose in November, or if he really does not want to be a Senator for another 6 years. I think the latter. He has a houseful of kids that are going to be college bound in the next few years. Maybe he is thinking about turning lobbyist.
thanks - somebody posted a link to a website earlier, but I stupidly closed the window & I'm not scrolling through 1400 posts to find it again...something "yankee"
I love your senator. Santorum should be returned to the Senate. I'd say vice-president too. Am I dreaming?
Geez! What drama queens!
Because they know it will hurt them come election time :0)
"It looks like the mothership is calling her head home."
LOL!! That's what I thought when I saw it."
It takes two UFOs to beam up those thighs.
I think I had a senior moment once, but I forget! ;>)
1. Wheneever Casey opens his mouth, he will upset some on his side, and his numbers will drop...He's peaked way to early..and is a less than exsciting campaiger.
] 2. Swan is running for Governor, and if the Steelers win the SB..well, it's all good for the GOP
3. Specter will campaign extensively for Santorum..
Florida new voter registration figures:
Republicans 50,000
'Rats 3000
Santorum deserves re-election but his seat is in serious trouble from Casey, a pro-life Democrat.
It's easy to tell them apart..one's a half-nelson, the other's a 2/3's nelson....

If The Dems Don't Filibuster Alito -- It Is The End Of The USA
I'm not sure our Congressmen or very many other people understand that the Great Experiment will have ended as a failure.
We will be left to build another nation on the foundation of what used to be the United States of America.
Hyperbole? I think not.
Nooooo. No hyperbole at all."
... "I think not"
probably the most truthful statement ever uttered by a DUmmie.
He will if he can find any possible way.
He's got a tough election here
The "true" conservatives haven't forgiven him for not backing Tomey
I agree with Santorum not being as passionate as he used to be. He seems sad or uncommitted.
I never thought I'd see the day where Hatch was more excited than Santorum
Maybe he's kicking himself for supporting Arlen over Toomey..
Six of those nine Republicans are sure things to vote for Alito, including Voinovich (he'll sometimes sell us out but not on judicial nominations). Snowe, Collins, and Chafee are the only possible GOP "No" votes, and I doubt even they will vote "No".
If I remember correctly Santorum stood with Spector over Tomey is that correct?
