Will "share" their angst and woe.

"The American people are lucky to have me there. They get two for the price of one."They actually said that in the new show Commander in Chief? OMG. Shameless Hillary shilling.

He should say that there will be three days of debate, with a vote scheduled for Friday afternoon, and that to accomodate Senators who want to speak at length, he will hold the Senate late every night. Opening without room for a fallback position, by which to accommodate a "compromise," is very poor strategy. Frist should open with two days of debate, allowing for the Rats to "negotiate" a possible third. It's a good time to wring out future concessions.

Blah blah blah. Sound and fury signifying nothing. He'll be confirmed. WE WIN. :)

We all knew Hollyweird was pushing a Hillary presidency, but that was pretty blatant. Somewhere I read that a writer for the show was connected to Bill's presidency.

I agree conceptually, but there are many arcane Senate rules which govern how the debate lasts..Reid skipped leader time..I expect he'll motuh off in the next hour..BTW..it's rude..it will force Frist to come back to the senate floor while Reid speaks..

Specter speaking now; quorum call cancelled. Specter wants to talk about the Judiciary Committee schedule; discussing the Patriot Act and maybe trying to end the on-going democrat filibuster.

While we're waiting for Specter and Leahy to shut up: Jimmah Carter is reportedly wearing a bullet proof vest while he is overseeing the Palestinian/Hamas elections. Does anyone know if Joe Biden is similarly attired/
