If the democrats seized this issue (secure the border, kick out illegals, jail employers who hire illegals, extradite killers from Mexico, etc), they'd win in a landslide. But they're too stupid.

Most Texans are better armed then the Border Patrol.

How many will have to die before Bush does anything about an armed invasion?

Let's all sing together "Mister, we could use a man like James K. Polk again!"

the US/Mexico border would be a great place for Army/National Guard training! they could work on marksmanship.

They're not stupid. They want it to happen. They are socialists/communists. One thing they have in common with the terrorists is both groups seek to destroy the U.S. The former prefers it be done through politically and the latter with violence.

Some folks think that BOTH parties are waiting for the "North American Community" or some such, after which our votes will no longer matter.

You'ld be surprised...remember the Branch Davidians had an armory...so too do a lot of other Texans.

Lots of FFL owners out in Texas, personally, I know of several M2 .50 cals, and Browning .30 cals, in civilian hands.

Lots of MacMillian .50 cal sniper rifles in civilian hands out here as well.

All in law abiding, US loving, legal, civilian ownership too. Gotta love the 2nd Amendment.

So then, do the Mexicans have more Troops on the border than we do?

Bush's fault?

"Seemed like an armed bunch of Texans threw the Mexican Army a beating the last time they crossed into Texas...we might just see a sequel to that."

Oh please, as the article stated, this kind of crap has been going on for years. What's Bush's response? Amnesty.

The FAA just posted a Temporary Flight Restriction(TFR) along the border of between Mexico and Arizon and New Mexico.

The stated reason is so the "surveillance" UAV's will not interfere with general aviation in the area.

I think UAV=Predator
