Libbies are so glum, all they can do is watch Brokeback Mountain...

My brain is screaming, "Chic flick. Danger! Will Robinson." Just thinking of liberals watching all the chic flicks since TA Edison makes me feel all warm inside. Some poor slob sitting through a movie like that thinking maybe she will realize how sensitive and caring I am. Chic's dig sensitive and caring. Oh Yeah!

Great essay John.

The Left is in a tizzy, and their evil hearts are exposed.

I always learn so much reading you. How to spell "renege" my lesson du jour. And boy did I need it! Democrats on the Judicial Committee have made a career out of reneging!
I've reneged at the bridge table, but I never did it on purpose....like Leahy. Sometimes a renege is an out and out lie, planned out all along, intentional, down and dirty.

And on that nasty Abrahamoff's lobbying efforts. I don't know if he ever sunk to the level of Democrat special interests groups, demanding he get his money's worth.

Republicans let ginsberg through with no fight but these dems have blocked judges after judges.

But let's tell the truth - three of 45 Republican senators voted against Ginsburg, and there were at least 20-25 who were active supporters.

Of the existing 45 Democrat senators, 42 are radical leftist activists at heart. Of the existing 55 Republican senators, how many are radical rightist activists at heart? One? Two?

The party of the radical left is by far the largest party in the senate. The breakdown (forget the party designations) is probably 40 radical socialist, 30 center-left, 5 center, 20 center-right, and 5 right.

Besides ben nelson all the dems are radical leftists.

That means you have 43 radical dems plus Jeffords

Then you have your rinos: Chafee, Snowe, Collins, McCain, Specter

Then you have your semi rinos: Voinovich, Murkowski, Warner, Dewine

Then you have your kiss up to the media mavericks: Hagel and Graham

You are already up to 55 and out of the rest of the 45 at least 15 are very soft supporters.

Very few true star conservatives like Tom Coburn.

I fear that conservatives are going to misinterpret an Alito confirmation. They'll assume that Alito and his supporters won this on the basis of good performance. That's not the case. Alito's testimony wasn't that spectacular. He looked good because the Democrats blew it by acting like total buffoons. I'm sure that even Karl Rove was astonished at how poorly Ted Kennedy & Company performed.

There's no guarantee that they'll screw up again if another vacancy occurs. Careful choosing and planning is the key should that happen. Overconfidence could be fatal.

Fantastic, as usual, JH2!
Your $.02 ALWAYS rocks!

The 'Rats = Brokeback Senate.

If I could amend my tagline,
I would add the word "Democrat"
in front of the word "senators".

But, I couldn't do that to Will. ;o)

.

Funny, I'm a woman and I've never felt like my rights were threatened by constititional judges. Now liberals, on the other, make me feel like the rights AND liberties of, not only women, but of all Americans, are threatened.

Who gives these nagging b*tches the right to speak for all women? They sure don't speak for me. Never did. Shouldn't they say instead that they're concerned about the "rights" of whining, nagging, emasculating, self-absorbed, baby killing, perpetually malcontented liberals who had the "misfortune" of being born with female body parts?
