Michael Moore Statement on Canadian Election Friday, January 20th, 2006
Michael Moore is currently in production on his next movie. As an avid lover of all things Canadian, he has issued the following statement regarding Canada's upcoming election on Monday:
Oh, Canada -- you're not really going to elect a Conservative majority on Monday, are you? That's a joke, right? I know you have a great sense of humor, and certainly a well-developed sense of irony, but this is no longer funny. Maybe it's a new form of Canadian irony -- reverse irony! OK, now I get it.

That was a misprint. the correct way it should have been typed is:
"As and avid lover of all thing COMMUNIST, he has issued the Following statment ..."

Just MHO, but when the MSM polls don't show a landslide for the left, it's going to be a good day for the conservatives.
I'm just happy he never moved here. Monsewer Moore gave the people of Canada a compelling reason to vote conservative - to keep his fat butt out of our country!

Canadian Bacon. That movie is truely horrid. I believe he wrote, directed, and produced that turkey, and it shows.
There was one mildly amusing scene in the movie, when the Americans got pulled over by the Mountie for having anti-Canadian slogans spraypainted on their car, because they weren't also written in French.
Lots of films are shot in Canada - production costs are much cheaper. However, I do get tired of seeing British Columbian old growth forests and Simon Fraser University in most of the SG-1 episodes.
Oh, come on. Ain't it fun to see TO's city hall as part of the Klingon empire?
