A Salinas pastor accused of sexually molesting his adopted daughter and a handicapped girl pleaded guilty less than two months after authorities began investigating him.
Donald Domelle, 65, pastor of the Baptist Temple of Salinas, admitted to two felony counts of lewd conduct with a child and agreed to a minimum of 15 years in prison Thursday in a remarkably swift case that kept one young woman and a teenager from recounting in court their stories of repeated sexual abuse at the pastor's hands.

Nice try. But since there has only been light thrown on the subject, and absolutely no abuse, it's irrelevent.
That is my last word on the subject in this thread.
Promise?
when i was in high school (late 70's) we had 4 girls from our school that as soon as they graduated they married teachers they had in school. i was appalled then, now that i am a parent, wife and school board trustee, i am more than appalled - the teachers should have been strung up by their *****! to use their position of authority, they violated the trust of those girls and their parents. every single one ended in divorce with a few short years.
i have always taught my kids this principal, but have not limited it to members of the opposite sex. when they have friends over, regardless of who they are, the door has to remain ajar, and i frequently walk in unannouced. i constantly impress on my 19 yr old the need to never be completely alone with any of his female friends, especially the girls who are younger than he is. i teach it as "avoiding even the appearance of evil" in that no one can ever accuse him of inappropriate behavior towards a young lady.
as far as the open doors with friends, when i was in jr high i used to spend the night with a friend who molested me at night (behind closed doors) while her mom was in the next room. i never want my kids to go through that!
