ABC Radio Networks announced a multi-year agreement with talk show personality Mark Levin to nationally syndicate The Mark Levin Show to radio stations around the country. The program will air on 4 stations in the Top 10 markets beginning January 30th: WABC in New York, WMAL Washington, D.C., WBAP Dallas and WJR Detroit.
Levins program is currently among the most popular talk shows in the New York area, heard daily from 6-8pm (ET). In the first 18 months on the air, the program jumped to #1 in the time slot.
I am elated to be able to contribute to the growing conservative dialogue across our country, said Levin. I think listeners will find my perspective and approach thought-provoking, educational, entertaining and sometimes controversial but never boring. Well plan on having a lot of fun, too.
A frequent guest and substitute host on The Sean Hannity Show, Levin is one of the countrys preeminent conservative commentators and constitutional lawyers. He is a contributing editor for National Review Online, and writes frequently for many other publications. His book, Men in Black, which was released in February 2005, was on the New York Times Best Sellers list for 10 weeks!
We are thrilled to bring Mark Levin and his unique brand of talk to listeners around the country, said John McConnell, Senior Vice President of Programming, ABC Radio Networks. Paired along with Sean Hannity, Levins show is a tremendous one-two punch for programmers to grab and keep listeners on the radio dial.
Levin has served as a top adviser to several members of President Ronald Reagans Cabinet, including Chief of Staff to the Attorney General of the United States. In 2001, the American Conservative Union named Levin the recipient of the prestigious Ronald Reagan Award. He currently practices law in the private sector, heading the prestigious Landmark Legal Foundation in Washington, D.C.
Hey, what about me? I live in one of those Top 10 markets and I love Levin.
I would put him on KABC or KRLA opposite Rush. We have Laura from 6:00 to 9:00, Sean and Medvid from 12:00 to 3:00 and Hugh Hewitt from 3:00 to 6:00. O'reilly from 9:00 to 11:00 is just a big waste of time. I think the Rush slot for Levin would be good for those of us who get a little tired of the Me, Me, Me, Me, Golf, Golf, Golf, and Football, Football, Football chit chat.
Not that I don't love Rush. But sometimes he is a bit tiresome.
Agree - sometimes he insults them in such a way that they dont even understand that they have just been insulted.
The article doesn't say, but it would be nice if he would be on at another time (i.e. during the day) - it is very difficult for me to listen from 6-8pm as I can only listen over the Net.
I gave up on Doyle, he's too liberal for me.
Savage has been a waste of time lately also.
Batchelor is all that's left.
He tells it like it is and he never pulls any punches, that is why he is so great!
He's no Mike Savage, but he aight.
guess I'll have to call KABC & KRLA here in L.A. and see if we can get him!
I'd love to hear The Great One on a Philly station. I live in the Philly burbs and work in Princeton NJ, and the WABC show fades into static by the time I get close to home. Unfortunately, it usually happens when Mark is telling some 'big dope' lefty seminar caller to 'get off the phone' :-(.
EXCELLENT!
:-)
I just noticed your name. I live in Jersey City.
Great - I am in the Dallas area.
One more step in educating the American public. Rush, Sean and now Mark.
Thank you all.

Hello varmintxer!!! I just tested my link to wabc and it works.
For those of you who use Firefox Mozilla and have trouble linking to the wabc streaming web link (like I did), the following link works. Just type into the browzer:
http://abcrad.wm.llnwd.net/abcrad_wabc
Takes you immediately into WM Player!
Whooooo Hoooooo....... finally!
Thanks, vartmintxer for the original direct link.
Now even more "big dopes" will be able to get off the phone. The "Great One" is absolutely Hilarious!
I saw the problem in that the underline is covered up by the complete underline.
Welcome.
