A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997.   Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

Washington --- Who does this punk, Mark Levin, think he is? Just where does this racist, sexist, homophobic, conservative pig thinks he gets off in writing a book. Not only is he a fascist, but he’s a complete and utter moron, espousing the views of the conservative fruitcakes. It’s not bad enough that this lunatic has daily tirades on 77 WABC radio, but the hate monger has released a book, Men in Black, hammering away at the federal judiciary.

Thanks to the fascists at Regnery Publishing, we’re being subjected to more of the right wing attack machine and Levin’s asinine statements regarding the Supreme Court of the United States. Worst of all, the forward was written by Rush Limbaugh, the personification of conservative evil in America.

In an interview with Kathryn Jean Lopez of National Review, Mark Levin began his bombastic rant, talking about his book. "When judges or, my book’s focus—Supreme Court justices—act without authority, and do so with impunity, that’s tyranny," Levin said. "When justices seize authority from the other branches of the federal government, as well as state and local governments under the rubric of judicial review, that’s tyranny."

It is this kind of misconception that is an example of the stupidity exhibited in conservatives today. It’s become completely apparent that not only doesn’t Levin know what he’s talking about, but he’s completely confused about the U.S. Constitution. Mark continued this idiocy with even more egregious statements. “This behavior frustrates and disenfranchises the American people and thwarts representative government. I have no doubt the Framers would view the Court’s behavior in this regard as tyrannical. If we’re going to address the problem, we should have the courage to call it what it is.”

This is utter nonsense and shows the lack of intellectual capacity of today’s imbeciles, known as conservatives. No, Mr. Levin, tyranny is a publisher allowing a book like this to be read to children. Tyranny is going to war for oil, occupying Iraq while innocent women and children die. Tyranny is having talk radio hosts like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham and Mark Levin, not being allowed to use the Fairness Doctrine to keep them off the air. That’s the tyranny that has reared its ugly head today, and has created a Supreme Court that is bent on sending women, minorities and children back to the 19th century.

“I think it’s time someone told Mark Levin to zip his lip,” stated Sen. Susan Collins, R-ME. “It’s because of this man that I live in embarrassment today as a Republican.”

“I have to agree,” stated Sen. John McCain, R-AZ. “He is way too extreme to be on the public airwaves. I think it’s time I see if we can’t do something about his in congress. America needs more moderation. Because of his book, we’re about to get Alito on the court and we can kiss America goodbye.”

“Rush Limbaugh is to blame. He single handedly started all this ignorance and bigotry. Mark Levin is just an extension of this imbecile. I think it’s time Mark Levin got a little taste of what Rush Limbaugh got,” fired Sen. Charles Schumer, D-NY.

“If Levin is one of the best conservatism has to offer, I’d say it’s a dead ideology,” charged Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY. “Americans need to stand up for choice. They need to stand up for women’s rights. They need to stand up and tell men like Mark Levin to shut up!”

The conservative hypocricy is seen everywhere in men like Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Belling, Michael Medved, and Walter Williams—another man that has sold out his brotherhood and his soul, completely ignoring the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King.

The hypocricy doesn’t stop at radio and is even more apparent in these ignorant fine conservative writers: Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, and Laura Ingraham, examples of fine conservative minds. Nothing could be further from the truth as they preach their “conservative values,” disabling women everywhere.

Liberals know the people of America are far too stupid to run this country. They are merely ignorant sheep guided by conservatives in talk radio, on the internet, in daily columns and in books. It has become an obscene distortion that has led America astray of its true self. It must be stopped. Mark Levin and others must be shut up.

Remember, liberals are the party of inclusion. They are the party that can make a difference, not Mark Levin and his rants, a man that titles himself “The Great One,” a narcissist at best. They are the party that classifies all people into groups. They’re the people that understand minorities need a helping hand, knowing they couldn’t possibly make it in America on their own.

Liberals are the party that claims to be for the working man while raising their taxes. They are the people that advocate for the poor, offering them money instead of solutions, and cleanse our guilty consciences when we go home to our mansions on Nantucket, Beacon Hill, and Hollywood. They are the men and women that offer you an unemployment check rather than offering a job. They believe in keeping America divided, but castigate conservatives for their “lack of unity.”

Liberals detest bloggers, the New Media and Free Republic most of all—an insane asylum full of conservative news, views and good old-fashioned Americanism. Their repugnant behavior and their dictator, Jim Robinson, have toppled a once dominated media empire. They will forever label all of them as angry, ignorant bigots that support men like Levin and Alito. They purchase his book, listen to his radio station and sound off his talking points across the web.

Thanks to Mark Levin’s rants, liberals are now threatened by losing the stranglehold on the U.S. Supreme Court. They have had an iron grip on education for forty years, the grip that is slowly slipping on colleges and universities everywhere, as these nefarious conservative organizations continue to grow. It’s a repugnant disease that must stomped out with impunity.

Never forget that liberals want to protect you, and keep your children from harm by micromanaging every aspect of your life. They will say whatever it takes to discredit Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham, Ann Coulter, Michael Medved, David Limbaugh, Walter Williams and any conservative that threatens our ideology. They are socialists, choking in our own hypocrisy, having no other options left, and in the greatest of their ideals, they are imploding.

They must shut Mark Levin up, for he is destroying their ideals, their way of life, their party and their ideology.

about ready to crash.. been a LONG past 6 weeks & I am feeling it (big time)

too many pressures.. too many jerks... if you know what I mean.

Life is much, much too short!

I am pretty fed up with folks who like to find mountain construction when there is only an ant hill..

such is life but we do not have to put up w/it do we?

My support group went well.. good people. many needs.

I just yesterday was going thru some pix from the buffalo FReeper meeting I attended. HOW I WISH I HAD MY BETTER CAMERA WITH ME. the pix were great but mediocre at same time.

How about trying again in spring & I will try to attend

I would love to! I still have the ones I took online in my site, I'll find the link. In the mean time read these words my friend..

Grandpa's Hands

This is good; I'll never look at my hands the same!

Grandpa, some ninety plus years, sat feebly on the patio bench. He didn't move, just sat with his head down staring at his hands. When I sat down beside him he didn't acknowledge my presence and the longer I sat I wondered if he was OK. Finally, not really wanting to disturb him but wanting to check on him at the same time, I asked him if he was OK.

He raised his head and looked at me and smiled. "Yes, I'm fine, thank you for asking," he said in a clear strong voice.

"I didn't mean to disturb you, Grandpa, but you were just sitting here staring at your hands and I wanted to make sure you were OK," I explained to him.

"Have you ever looked at your hands," he asked. "I mean really looked at your hands?"

I slowly opened my hands and stared down at them. I turned them over, palms up and then palms down. No, I guess I had never really looked at my hands as I tried to figure out the point he was making. Grandpa smiled and related this story:

"Stop and think for a moment about the hands you have, how they have served you well throughout your years. These hands, though wrinkled, shriveled and weak have been the tools I have used all my life to reach out and grab and embrace life.

They braced and caught my fall when as a toddler I crashed upon the floor.

They put food in my mouth and clothes on my back.

As a child my Mother taught me to fold them in prayer.

They tied my shoes and pulled on my boots.

They held my rifle and wiped my tears when I went off to war.

They have been dirty, scraped and raw, swollen and bent.

They were uneasy and clumsy when I tried to hold my newborn son.

Decorated with my wedding band they showed the world that I was married and loved someone special.

They wrote the letters home and trembled and shook when I buried my Parents and Spouse and walked my Daughter down the aisle.

Yet, they were strong and sure when I dug my buddy out of a foxhole and lifted a plow off of my best friend's foot.

They have held children, consoled neighbors, and shook in fists of anger when I didn't understand.

They have covered my face, combed my hair, and washed and cleansed the rest of my body.

They have been sticky and wet, bent and broken, dried and raw.

And to this day when not much of anything else of me works real well these hands hold me up, lay me down, and again continue to fold in prayer.

These hands are the mark of where I've been and the ruggedness of my life.

But more importantly it will be these hands that God will reach out and take when he leads me home.

And with my hands He will lift me to His side and there I will use these hands to touch the face of Christ ."

I will never look at my hands the same again. But I remember God reached out and took my Grandpa's hands and led him home.

When my hands are hurt or sore or when I stroke the face of my children and wife I think of Grandpa. I know he has been stroked and caressed and held by the hands of God.

I, too, want to touch the face of God and feel His hands upon my face. (as do I )

I am in constant contact with Mr K, Eleni less but in contact non the less. The rest have fallen away and it's a shame. They wanted something to happen in Buffalo and look what we have done, they lost out in all the fun. Would have been nice to have this all part of a Freeper type action..

I also have a better camera, the lighting was not that good either. We can try again.

Human nature.. want the best but be overwhelmed & not able to help/participate. Same is the case here. . the potential is monumental.. the participants.. minuscule!
