I can see the huge guffhaw out of George's mouth when he was told this....
fact? This is nothing but premature ejaculation by the left...... She's gong to ride to victory on the shoulders of who.... Jonh Kerry, The Breck girl, Teddy Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi... Screaming Sheehan, John Murtha, Joe Bidet. All of whom can't stand her.
Oh...thats right: on Bill's shoulders - because they are such a lovely couple they deserve the White House again.
Come on folks.....have another glass of wine and lets not rush the process.

President Bush's advisers are resigned to the Democratic capture of the White House in 2008, according to senior Republican sources close to the White House. I don't buy it. Not for one second.

This is bogus. The absence of a known candidate for the Republicans does not mean Hillary will be president.
Let's get real.

....according to senior Republican sources close to the White House.I believe that this is a stone-cold lie.
I have no doubt that this article was generated by the Hillary camp.

The Bush/Clinton/Bush/Clinton administration has ten more years. Why worry about the elections that far off?

What strategists? Give me some names. No offense but I think this story is bullfeathers. If Hillary is so unbeatable then why are the following dems already running against her for their party's nod:
Al Gore
John Kerry
John Edwards
Mark Warner
Bill Richardson
Tom Vilsack
Evan Bayh
Joe Biden
I highly doubt the above politicians would waste their time and money running again Hitlery if they didn't think they could beat her. I personally think she's too divisive and too partisan to win even one Red State, but in fact if she somehow miraculously is the dem nominee she'll probably end up ceding Wisconsin, Maine, Oregon, New Hampshire and maybe Minnesota to the Repub candidate, whoever he/she is.

"But while the Democrats are completely focused on 2008, the White House has been completely aloof."
This phrase alone tells me this story has no credibility. First, the rats are not focused on 2006, let alone 2008. They are only focused on their hatred for President Bush. Then, the white house is aloof? Give me a break, they are fighting a war in the ME and a war in the media.

"The strategists have argued that given the forecasts of a downturn in the economy, crises with China and Iran, Mrs. Clinton would be besieged with major problems that would ensure a one-term presidency, the sources said."
I have long believed that VP Cheney would resign for health reasons and be replaced with someone who has little baggage.
The right person could enter the 2008 race as an "incumbent" if he/she is picked early enough.

For "entertainment value" alone, it would make for a memorable 4 years. Just think of all the vermin who would emerge from their hiding places in a quest for another chance to soil the White House.
