AT ODDS: One side says it speaks for those killed. The other says it speaks for the majority. All is peaceful.

TEMECULA - A vigil Sunday organized by anti-war activists to remember U.S. troops killed in Iraq was shadowed by supporters of the war, with both sides expressing their views on the conflict.
Ed Crisostomo / The Press-Enterprise About 80 anti-war protesters lined a sidewalk around the Temecula Duck Pond on Sunday to draw attention to those killed in Iraq.
About 80 people, most dressed in black, stood silently as they lined the sidewalk that circles the Temecula Duck Pond. Pinned to the clothing of each was the name and age of one of the 2,218 soldiers, sailors, Marines and airmen who have died in Iraq since Operation Iraqi Freedom began in March 2003.
Outside the Duck Pond, about two-dozen supporters of the war lined Ynez Road demonstrating opposition to the vigil.
Supporters of the war held signs that read "Victory" and "Liberalism is a mental disorder." One supporter of the war wore a Saddam Hussein mask and a black-and-white striped jail uniform with a sign that read "Impeach Bush," while blowing kisses to vigil participants.

Jeeeni Criscenzo is a far let democrat moonbat who is running for Congress in 2006. The looks on the dour faces of the left-wing vigilists reflected their disappointment and frustration at being upstage by the Protest Warriors.
The PW Saddam Hussein repeatedly waved at and cheered the moonbats while also repeatedly yelling out to Jeeni Criscenzo "I love you Jeeni!" and "I dream of Jeeni for Congress!" The sourpuss look on Criscenzo's face indicated that she was NOT pleased with the counterprotesters at the Temecula Duck Pond.
Other PW rally participants were veterans, active duty and reserve military, and patriotic citizens who wanted to show their pride and gratitude to America's Armed Forces who combat Islamofascist terrorism.
All in all...it was an excellent day in thwarting the leftist moonbats in Temecula.
Even though I'm a heteosexual female, I must remind you, there are certain rules about photos. :-)
It's what they do. The degenerates and fanatics claim to "speak" for everyone - even those they hate. They're shameless decadents. They debase everything they touch.
Hey, I live in Carlsbad how do i get in on the next counter protest???????????????
It was way closer than 80 to 24. I thought it was almost evenly split. Biased reporting?
Definitely biased reporting - I am guessing it was more like 55 to 30. Plus, the majority of honks, cheers and thumbs up were for us!
We need pics!!! Great Job to all involved.
Here is a better link to the news story which has a couple of photos:

Thank you for doing this. (Saddam and his signs were a terrific idea, too)
But since I'm the DC Chapter Leader, I'm biased.
