Well, that's swell. Nothing like a little domestic tranquility to get up for the game.
Still bummed about the Buncoes beating the Patriots. Am watching "The Replacements" as dessert!

Well, based on comments from all the other threads tonight, Harper's wife must be a Steeler fan, this is Joey Porter's fault, and will be used as an excuse by the Colts should they need to.
Speedy recovery to Mr. Harper.

I sense an impending Colts collapse - if not today against the yellow and black, then next week vs. Denver. Too much off-the-field crap. People like to say that stuff don't matter but sometimes it does.

From local reports, it sounds like this isn't the first time police have been involved with them. Not sure on the details of previous incidents.

Sounds as if she really wanted to get back at him for something. Stab him in the knee, end his career and with the end of his career comes the end of women throwing themselves at him. Of course, I'm sure she never considered herself as having thrown herself before him or, of her lifestyle after football with him coaching Middle School Football.

No, it's Kimo von Oelhoffen's fault.

Mickey told Rocky that "women weaken knees" but this is ridiculous.

He was lucky she didn't aim a bit higher.

I once knew a rugby player who had a buddy that was like a brother to him. His buddies wife left him and he thought the wife was fair game.
After having sex with the ex woke up because his buddy was sawing through his Achilles tendon with a knife. How's that for irony.
His buddy then shot the wife who escaped and then shot himself.
Personally I think there was a lady involved.

A handful of replies in the other "NFL live threads" People still crying about the Palmer hit, calling the Steelers cheap shot artists, saying their only chance to win is by taking out Manning.... that sort of thing.

If you get a chance, take a look at the January 16 issue of Sports Illustrated. Flip to the Leading Off section on page 6. It has a great photo of the Steelers' DBs (Carter, Taylor, Hope and Polamalu) being separated from Cincy's TJ Houshmandzadeh by a ref. I'm buying this photo and framing it.
