You would think the Dems would have figure it out by now. With Roe v Wade, there are fewer babies to kiss on the campaign trail.

Okay, so Alito didn't say what Tribe thinks he should have said...abortion must be protected at all costs. Tribe usually at least sounds smart, but I am not getting that here.

I'm sick of the dim witnesses pretending that they're speaking for women. I'm a woman. Roe v. Wade should be overturned. Larry will just have to get over it.

Since 1968 (nearly 40 years), there have only been two Justices appointed by Democrats, and both of those were done under Clinton. It's this little statistic that brought out the passion of those opposed to Miers. Republicans have an obviously bad record with stealth nominees and personal "trust me's". Alito is an awesome pick.

We are free to do as we are told. They are free to force us to shut up.
That's their "freedom"
They freak out when we talk about liberty, for obvious reasons.

Hahahaha. Specter says, "Tribe, you're a minute and half over your 5 minutes. Could you wrap it up please?"
Specter is calling out Tribe on Tribe's opening, "I'm not testifying against confirmation of Alito."

Bush-forced back of the bus abortions. Why don't they just merge their crap into ONE argument?

Just another example of the Left not being able to tell the truth.
To: Mo1
"Arlen asks if Tribe if he saying he is not testifying against Alito" And Tribe's answer sounds like he doesn't know what he's doing. (IE Tribe doesn't want to go on record.)
To: Mo1
I still don't know WHY Tribe is there...does he??

Right.
Charles Fried (pro-Alito) and Tribe (?) are both pro-abortion but think that Alito will only 'chip away' at RvW. Hope they're wrong.

Geez... Tribe rambles on and on. Specter tries to get him to be clear. Tribe remains ambiguous. What is he even doing there today? If he doesn't have an opinion, why is he testifying?

No, just a serious lack of opportunites for nomination. Since 1968 (nearly 40 years), there have only been two Justices appointed by Democrats, and both of those were done under Clinton. It's the American People's Fault !!
