This is U.S. Appeals Court Judge Maryanne Trump Barry, a Clinton appointee who gave a glowing endorsement of her colleague, Sam Alito, earlier today, along with six other judges from the appeals court who appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee to support Alito.
Chuck Schumer walked out before the judges started to speak.
Teddy Kennedy showed up late, stayed for 10 minutes, then left.
Pat Leahy put on a dour face for a short time, and also bailed...
if Judge Barry were a screeching liberal moaning about Alito's threat to the female populace, the Dems would have been all ears--and Judge Barry would have been all over the evening news tonight.
But she wasn't...

Seriously. It's handy to have a judge in the family - she performed the ceremony when The Donald married Melahhhhhnia, and also officiated when The Donald, Jr. married his fashion model a couple of months ago. :)
Egotistical, self-centered, immoral, and mostly law breaking jerks.
They actually make me yearn for some honest, well-mannered, sincere deluded socialists. It's pretty bad for the country when the main opposition party is led by morally bankrupt degenerates.
That doesn't surprise me. It just shows their contempt for the judicial process, and our constitution...
For Dems, the truth about Alito is like holding up a cross to a vampire
It is amazing...
"Sen. Edward M. Kennedy belongs to a social club for Harvard students and alumni that was evicted from campus nearly 20 years ago after refusing to allow female members."
"According to the online membership directory of the Owl Club, the Massachusetts Democrat updated his personal information -- including the address of his home, which is in his wife's name -- on Sept. 7, 2005."
"The club has long been reviled on campus as "sexist" and "elitist" and, in 1984, was booted from the university for violating federal anti-discrimination laws..."

Well, she sure seemed like a fine eloquent woman. Very solid and trusting. Someone I could be friends with. Just that kind of way she came across. Honest and sincere. :)
"Honest and sincere. :)"
Maybe she's not *biologically* related to The Donald, then. ;)
:) :)
How do you suppose John Kerry gets away with missing almost all meetings of the committees he's assigned to?
Thanks for the link, as reading the article refreshed my memory regarding another dirty deed of Kennedy's. Was surprised to learn that any newspaper had the guts to write any of his nototious adventures. Makes me wonder if they are up to no good by doing this...
"How do you suppose John Kerry gets away with missing almost all meetings of the committees he's assigned to?"
Poor bladder functioning...
The Democrats leave the hearing, and sanity returns to the room. Not a coincidence.
There won't be any attacks on sitting judges from the leftists because they are all cowards and wimps. They can only try and savage a good person when that person must comply with decency and composure. I have never ever seen a liberal make any points in a fair and balanced presentation.
I had heard Feingold had objections to the precident set by the judges' testimony. Does anyone have the quotes?
Actually, I remembered Kerry's frequent misses after I posted..I just didn't think this type of behavior was so widespread.
While expelled, Kennedy enlisted in the Army, but mistakenly signed up for four years instead of two.
His father, Joseph P. Kennedy, then U.S. Ambassador to England, pulled the necessary strings to have his enlistment shortened to two years, and to ensure that he served in Europe, not Korea, where a war was raging.
Kennedy was assigned to Paris, never advanced beyond the rank of Private...

Teddy was admitted to Harvard as a legacy student, rather than for academic achievement.
Teddy's claim to fame at Harvard was getting expelled for cheating,...( TWICE ).
It is nice to have Daddy fix your screw ups.

Kennedy's dad was previously, likely not currently at that time, Ambassador to England.
As my memory is telling me.
Alito has a 15 year record as a distinguished judge that the Dims largely ignored. The fact they spent so much time talking about what he did as a college kid speaks volumes - they can't attack his record.
The old saying roughly is...
If you can not argue the law, can not argue the facts, then use the politics of personal destruction.
