Vanguard and CAP are the only 2 straws the looney left are clinging to.

I wonder if any of the other Dems will talk about Vanguard and back up the lush in his quest to destroy Alito.

Well, he has a right to be. Kennedy just said that Alito didn't take his promise seriously to recuse himself, when in fact there is only one case in 15 years where he heard a vanguard case, and when it was pointed out he recused himself from THAT case, meaning that in the end he has NEVER had a final ruling on a single Vanguard case.

Which is EXACTLY what he promised.

Kennedy said there was no reason given for him to join CAP, when Alito has explained exactly why he joined CAP.

Some of his aides have reportedly stated anonymously they were surprised kennedy took that tack yesterday since there was nothing "there" to pursue. The implication being Kennedy went off on his own to please the Lefties in his base. I don't know if that's true. I could see kennedy doing that, but I could also see the anonymous aides not wanting the embarrassment on their heads for the line of questioning yesterday that they provided. Whichever it was, kennedy doesn't write his own questions and if his aides didn't provides the questions I suspect Neas or someone close to him well could have.

The only coherant thought Ted has is when he can get his next drink. His addiction is so strong he can't sit through a few hours without his hand shaking from the withdrawal.

He was shaking bad. Voice was shaking and his hands were shaking. Now he's left the meeting. We can only pray for the best :)

Does Kennedy always leave so no other senators will talk about him because they aren't suppose to talk about another senator unless that senator is present?

It should be absolutely REQUIRED that ALL committee members sit through every second of testimony.
