And Ted's father and family were more or less kicked out of England at Churchill's request to FDR. FDR was paying off a political debt with that appointment and was ecstatic that he could sack him.

Martha Ann Alito shaking her head in the Negative while Kennedy is making nonsensical noises about Vanguard. I could understand recusing yourself on matters involving a single stock. But, a mutual fund? If any company in the funds bag of stocks came before you, wouldn't you have to recruse yourself. And, the funds stock portfolio changes all the time.

Mrs. Alito is a trooper. She is sitting behind her husband and being supportive, while in fact she, like the rest of us know, the STUPID DIMS are never ever going to vote for him in the first place.
Kennedy is sucking up now..... oh pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Kennedy doesn't know that the Dems' hope for a "Gotcha" is actually a boomerang.

A mouse in the house? Oh my...try putting a few small snack packs of poison where pets or children can not find them. Keep dog food away...contains the antedote-vitamin K! Also, the varmits usually leave the residence to croak.
FYI-my first contribution made to Freep. Writing this as I listen to a red-faced bloviating senator grilling on C-Span. Thank you for this opportunity to try a reply (very self-conscious).

Leahy was a pointless windbag.
Hatch gave time to Fatboy from Mass, to get him later.
Fatboy stuck on Vanguard.
