Day 4: Hearing Resumes
This morning, Senators will question Judge Alito during a third round. They will then go into a closed session, to review the FBI background investigation on the Supreme Court nominee. Outside witnesses may be called to testify this afternoon, as well as the American Bar Association, to discuss its recommendations.

My heart goes out to you and your family, Lovergirl. I can't even begin to imagine the pain and heartbreak you all have been through. All the anticipation and planning and then to have to come home and see all the preparations for a baby, now not needed, must have been overwhelming.
I still cannot understand this love affair with abortion. There are enough methods of contraception available to prevent pregnancy but it seems to me too many women are using abortion as birth control. I am certain that future generations will have problems with the wholesale slaughter of the unborn; that is, those who weren't aborted themselves.
We are desperate for cures for cancer, ALS, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's--the list goes on and on. It very well could be that one of these abortions eliminated the very life that might have had the answer.
I really cannot judge another woman's decision, but to call a fully-developed baby, capable of living on its own, without medical intervention, a FETUS is just ignorant.
