Ruth Ginsburg's clerk How telling.
If these rats filibuster...the buster will be on them all. After the judges testified...they've all got to be sooo depressed 'cause this filibuster strategy will be a huge blowback on each and everyone of them...nuking will be the good guys only option. Then W can fill the vacancies throughout the federal system with conservative non-activist judges. Those rats had better tiptoe through the tulips very softly.

Kirsanow did a great job.
I don't even think the Commission on Civil Rights should exist-especially after the mockery that hectoring little martinet Mary Frances Berry made of the agency-but I'm glad that someone of his caliber is a member of it.

"I remember the stories my mother told when she was a kid and how the Italians were treated and it wasn't nice
Heck, I'm 39 and I used to get called a stinking ginny, jumped, and beat up until 4th grade when my dad (NYC Cop) came by in uniform for parents day. We had these neighbors wouldn't give us candy during halloween because all eye-talians are dirty. They'd call the cops on us at night because they thought we would break into their house.
Good thing my dad was a 220lb musclebound cop."
I think most races have experienced this. I remember my mother telling me about how it felt to be a Swede and considered as "dirty". (They used to build soddies and have dirt floors if they were poor and couldn't immediately afford a wood floor).
The Irish of course also took heat. Etc. Etc.
