Day 4: Hearing Resumes
This morning, Senators will question Judge Alito during a third round. They will then go into a closed session, to review the FBI background investigation on the Supreme Court nominee. Outside witnesses may be called to testify this afternoon, as well as the American Bar Association, to discuss its recommendations.

Aldisert is giving a slam dunk glowing endorsement for Alito. I love these Judges! They are throwing it back at these hot airs on the Senate Judiciary Committee that have been getting away with smearing their collegues for far too long.
Aldisert is the final nail in the demoncrats coffin on this confirmation hearing.
This is great Theatre. Dems had best crawl back into their fox holes.

Judge Garth appearing via video from California. He recently had major spinal surgery and can't travel.
We just attended my Grandmothers' 100th Birthday party last weekend in SoCal.... BTW you have to walk fast to keep up with her; she uses a walker for balance only and wheels that thing at top speed.

I am so efficient I just hit the wrong key, closed the FR window, and had to start over! It took me 4 page turnings to get back to your post. Only a woman would understand this!

Judge Garth says major Judge Aldisert is older than I am, but not by many days.
I have heard all of my colleagues speak so eloquently and glowingly about Judge Alito but I have known him just a little bit longer and in a different capacity over his career.
He served as one of my law clerks and as my colleague on the court of appeals.
We are both NJ residents and remain close to one another and I can speak knowledgeably about Sam's talents and discretion and fairness and integrity. These are qualities that Judge Alito has now and has had throughout his career.
