I will make another claim (I may get flamed for this, not neessarily by you).

the most important testmony for Alito so far - has been from Christine Todd Whitman. Yes, I know she is a pro-choice "RINO". But the point is, that's the type of Senator holding our slim majority in the senate together. It was good to have her speak for Alito, and she did several talk radio shows speaking in favor of him also, where she made some very good arguments for his confirmation.

Wow, I missed a LOT today. (I bought another house) I wish I had put things off so I could be around for the fireworks. Can anyone confirm for me that Russ Feingold flipped? That is HUGE if true. It would confirm that many Democrats are disgusted with the radical Dems attack on Alito.

If there ever was a final straw it was laid down today as Mrs. Alito left the room in tears. The amazing thing about this is that the dem/rats did what we have been trying to do for some time now, get the American public to see just how badly their party has degenerated. they succeeded in doing that today.

Now the job is for us,the new media, to get the truth past the msm inevitable spin which has already begun.

Durbin thinks he has someting to nail Alito on. Alito swishes him away like a gnat.

Congrats on the new investment.

I think the Feingold thing was a misunderstanding. I have been looking and can't find any confirmation at all. I think this is big enough news it would be somewhere.

I cannot imagine having my husband, the most decent man I've ever known, besmirched by the likes of chief Rat Kennedy. The murderer and alcoholic.

Mrs. Alito has been strong in keeping her emotions in check and it's interesting that it wasn't the attacks that undid her. It was the kindness.

"I try to reserve 'hate' for Islamofacists and the like but it's getting tougher every day"

"Despise" works for me. Because there are two syllables you can really accent the second and project your anger! I used it all the time with WJC and just saying it made me feel better.

They are also despicable and contemptible losers which is why it's so satisfying to see them slapped. Arlen did a good job today with the swimmer. I notice he had to take a drink right after he was chastised like a child--what are the bets that most likely isn't water?

Fox News ran the tape of Mrs. Alito crying several times during the 6 p.m. news. You could see the tears glistening in her eyes. Then she wiped the tears away. She exhibited enormous self-control in not running over and slapping each blowhard! The Alitos are one classy couple, which is an unknown foreign word to most of the senators.

Durbin really dug deep to come up with some ammo agains Alito....to no avail. I thought Alito handled him very well.

The Dems do not want to look like they were part of the attack pack

Attack Pack.

I like that - It describes Teddy, Schumer, Biden, et al perfectly. They have turned this hearing into another Wellstone "crash bash" memorial. Congratulations 'rats: hope your moonbat base is happy.

My #1 is the ultimate overturn of Roe. I believe I have a chance with this man.

Exactly, Peach. Graham's apology was a release for her pent-up frustrations, probable anger, and heartbreak at the treatment her husband was receiving. Her children are not small, but they were there to see their father being treated so nastily, and I'm sure that also weighted heavily on Mrs. Alito's mind.

I was SHOCKED to hear tha Feingold had already said he was going to vote for Alito...

because, remember, he is the one that asked for a list of every single person that was ever involved in the "moot court" sessions that the White House put Alito through as practice for this...

he wants the list by tomorrow morning...so, why would he cave today??
