What a great photo. Any idea when it was taken? Frankly he looks more handsome today, if that's possible.
To: DollyCali
He does bare some resemblence. Nice looking man.
To: mware
It would be good for him to ask them what NEW areas would they intend to cover before he made his decison. I think he has the right to ask them what they NEED the extra time for.. or would it be to beat the same dead horse

And yet in so many words the President says to bring it on with the hearings about what's he's doing.
No shrinking violet in any circumstance. You gotta love him or hate him.

They will get another round. Specter wants it tonight, Leahy wants it tomorrow so they can have the night to do some polling, see if anything is working, so they know what to say tomorrow
You got it exactly. The pollers are hitting the phones right now..
To: ilovew
Did they show him the clip? Fox has replayed it several times now. No, Gibson didn't. He let the Schmuck talk his cr*p. Gibson was asking was he satisfied with his answers because they kept asking the same things. To me this just gave the Cheese more time to get his point across. So I muted it.
Now they have that Megan Kendall. She may be pretty but I've always see her left leaning anti-Bush reporting. I think her cockeyed eyes have interfered with her perceptions. Don't laugh. Look at her eyes. They are very unequal. As the blinds Sheik and Mullah Omar show this can tilt your perspective.
To: advance_copy
Absolutely. It must have been so hard for her to hear the dims insinuate that her husband is racist or sexist or a bigot or whatever the he!! their point was. If I were in her position, I probably wouldn't have made it this far without crying. The dims were being cruel and harsh and stupid and lying about her husband.

Surfed over to CNN and caught the end tail of Blitzer's show, he kinda agreed the dems would catch flack over Mrs. Alito, this will not go over too well with the public!
Which means its about 30min from becoming a 'Rove told her to Cry' myth over at DU

The AP corrected the caption!
Martha-Ann Alito reacts during the third day of the confirmation hearings for her husband Judge Samuel Alito as Associate Justice on the Supreme Court on Capitol Hill in Washington, Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2006. Mrs. Alito reacted to the apology by Republican Senate Judiciary Committee member Sen. Lindsey Graham , R-S.C. for the contentious nature of questioning during the hearing. The public should know that she cried during Grahams apology, she was touched.
I hope this gets cleared up.

Because they didn't finish round 1 yesterday, they finished it this morning.
Regardless of what you might have otherwise heard.
This makes sense -- round 1 was 30 minutes each, that's 9 hours without breaks (and Kennedy got an extra 2 minutes).
