Has he come back, or do they need to send a driver over to the pub to pick him up?

Kohl may be the smartest 'Rat on the committee. He's the only one who doesn't advertise his stupidity. He just quietly asks stupid questions, while the others loudly ask stupid questions, preen for the camera, pontificate endlessly on irrelevant topics, express feigned shock and exasperation at Alito's answers, and otherwise shout, "Hey, look at me, I'm an idiot," to the whole viewing audience.

Imagine...PO had 2 years to get ready for postal increase yet; no post office has 2 cent stamps.

What? Have I missed something? Did the postal rates go up again? Are all my bill payments going to come back?

Frist on Alito and CAP
[Ed Whelan 01/11 02:29 PM]
From Majority Leader Bill Frist:

“As a Princeton alumnus, I had concerns about CAP, but I have no concerns about Judge Alito's credibility, integrity and his commitment to protecting the equal rights of all Americans. Judge Alito has condemned discrimination, and his record of more than 15 years demonstrates his commitment to equal rights for women and minorities. Old documents of a now defunct organization will not tell us more than Alito's statements and record already have. Further, the views the Democrats attribute to Alito through CAP were the views expressed by an individual member in a magazine who was not speaking for the organization – and certainly not for Judge Alito. This is another transparent attempt by the Democrats to wage an unfair smear campaign against an exceptionally qualified nominee.”

The thought of one of the 'Rat Senators tripping up Alito with a Jedi Mind Trick is hilarious! It's really not a fair fight.

Biden & friends vs. Alito = the Witless vs. the Witness.

"Alito now talking about cases he might get"

Abortion cases. I bet it's driving the dims crazy that he keeps using the word abortion and not saying the politically corret 'women's right to choose'.
