The left cannot accept the fact that "THEY" hate us for purely religious reasons because "The Left" is so anti-religious, as to discount the beliefs of the terrorists. To The Left, it MUST be based on socio-economic reasons, an nothing else. The Left is so biased against reasonable thought processes concerning the WOT, they are blind to the truth.......

What a navel-gazing question. They don't just hate us, they hate everyone. There is no "reason" why.

Actually it is our secular humanism, the very thing the LEFT claims to champion, which they hate.
It is spiritual. Like the Romans, Hitler, Stalin, Satan, etc., Christians and Jews are a threat to insanity and must be eliminated or their big, big plan won't work right.
That's pretty much it, short and simple. Among the masses of followers, of course, there's considerable jealousy of our freedom and prosperity, and embarrassment--translated to resentment--that their own societies are so poor and backward.

They hate us MORE now, thanks to "globalism", the internet, cable TV and the fact that they can see everything we have and just how much it conflicts with their primitive ideas of an ideal society.
That depends on whether those elected to power are islamic hardliners or not. Just because a government is duly elected by voters doesn't mean islam will just fade away.

In 1985 I heard this story about how some Arabic groups treat their children. After you hear this story - you will understand WHY they hate us - and why it has nothing to do with anything WE DID TO THEM.
Beginning when the children are school age, they are sent to "camps" - in these summer camps, the children are taught as follows:
The boys are taught to take a tiny puppy dog and squeeze it's neck until the puppy dies. All the time the boys are doing this act of violence - the boys are taught to say - "this is the dog the Jew and this is what I can do to the dog the Jew".
The girls are taught to take a tiny snake and chop it's head off - killing the snake. All the time the girls are doing this act of violence - the girls are taught to say - "this is the snake the Jew and this is what I can do to the snake the Jew".
When you take children 4-5 years old and you indoctrinate or basically brain-wash them with this attitude - it can and does stay with them for life.
We haven't done anything to make them hate us - they have trained their children to perpetuate their hatred of anything Jewish or .. anyone who supports Israel.
The Arabic hatred of Israel is 4000 years old and I don't expect that hatred to be cooled any day soon. The Arabic nations believe Ishmael is the true heir of Abraham - not the Israelite - Isaac. This is a war between 2 half-brothers fighting over an inheritance - the land between the "the Egypt river (the Nile) and the Euphrates" - that's in Genesis.

Irrelevant. I don't care why they hate me anymore than I would care that a rabid dog hated me. The fact that they want to kill me is all I need to know.
