>He is great. He is, I believe, the intellectual equal of Roberts.<
He certainly is holding his own against the Democrats. He's coming off really well, and the Dems look like, well, donkeys.

When FNC showed the view from behind Alito, it looked liked Leahy was the rude one coughing. Leaky is a hack, after all.

"And even the libs don't want another lib on the court. All politics is local."
That's good to know. Have heard before that politics is local. Now let's hope most all of the voting population shows up at the polls next time around.

That's great. Alito certainly has had many endorsements from his peers, the Bar association etc.

I hope everyone notices the difference between, for example, Grassley and Biden. Grassley got in an amazing number of probitive questions. AND, he listened to the answers. These questions dug out important information about Alito.
Then along comes Biden. He may not even get in a single question! He simply can't shut up his personal self-promotion! and I bet Biden is lying about what he remembers about Bill Bradley!! He's just so fullashit his eyes are brown!

Brit Hume is one of the best newsmen I have ever seen. He is head and shoulders above any others that I know of - oh, waitaminit, Kudlow is good too. Hume is better though ;-)

And Biden just said that finally "it's about who you're replacing because it's about whether you will alter the constitutional balance"... brother.
Since when is the judicial nomination process, or the makeup of the court for that matter, dependent on having as close to a near-perfect balance as possible!?

Good grief--Biden just insulted Princeton--and is trying to say that Alito has to be an O'Connor clone. Is trying to make Alito out to be "subtly" prejudiced!
