Just walked in in time to hear Ole Leaky ask about FISA. Why doesn't Alito answer that he can't comment on questions that might come before the court?

it would be tacky, but Alito could reference CLinton bombing an aspirin factory or camel tent suring War On Monica.
Sheese; more "spying" questions. Leahy doesnt know anything! He doesnt know what the NSA was doing!! LOL IDIOT
To: SandyInSeattle
But it will be gratifying when Alito is confirmed. Let him smirk and look stupid

Can someone count how many times (up)Chuck Schumer uses the word "I" when he speaks today? I will put the over/under at....60.His use of "I", his age and his IQ are in the same ball park.
A dillar, a dollar, an all-day-long scowler.
Tell me, what is that Senator's name?
Chuck Schumer, that fumer, with no sense of humor,
His IQ and age are the same.

Here's the lie by Leaky Leahy that the FISA court is easy to maneuver. We have found out that FISA rejected or modified more warrant applications during the Bush administration than the previous 24 years combined.

Just walked in in time to hear Ole Leaky ask about FISA. Why doesn't Alito answer that he can't comment on questions that might come before the court?Actually he's doing just that while at the same time drawing a contrast between somebody that understands the law and the constitution and somebody that is clueless. Clueless is represented by Senator Leahy.
To: RedBloodedAmerican
It's very, very easy to see where this is going for the Democrats. Bush is being vilified, Bush is Hitler, Bush is evil, therefore any appointment by Bush must be lambasted and denied any position.
Especially Supreme Court Justices.
Jeez.........Spying on Quakers is the issue now.

Sheese; more "spying" questions. Leahy doesnt know anything! He doesnt know what the NSA was doing!! LOL IDIOT These questions by Leaky are for the public .. and he's fishing to see if they can limit the President's powers in a time of war
Now he's talking about the Quakers

Leahy is throwing away his political career right now. Well, what was left of it.
To: Peach
Alito just said that this could be brought up in the S.C. that he would have to hear all info before he could answer. He has not really said how he would decide but he would need to hear to decide.

Ahleeoto has a good answer for Leahy, re: bypassing FISA.
"It depends on what the arguements are".
Leahy keeps saying the eavesdropping is "illegal". Sounds to me like he already made up his mind.
Now he's rambling about the quakers. Leahy knows that the innocent old quakers have ELF domestic terrorists in their midsts.
To: Chuck54
Can I hit him? Being an idiot is worth a punch.
