ALITO CONFIRMATION HEARINGS
Questioning Begins Today
Each of the eighteen senators on the Judiciary Cmte. will have 30 minutes to question Supreme Court nominee Samual Alito today during round one. Sen. Arlen Specter, as chairman, will begin, then they will alternate by party in order of individual seniority. Round two starts on Wednesday.
Well, maybe after Bush names another SC justice, you can change your screen name to "Twothirdsright"

Remember...... because with straight faces, editorial writers, Jeffrey Toobin on CNN, and democrats will accuse Alito of being non-responsive,
"Unbelievable. The dems seem to think if a woman or black bring a discrimination suit against anyone, the verdict should be guilty. What baloney. Biden talks about "subtle" discrimination. Where I work, if I go for a promotion and there is a woman or minority on the list (I'm a white male), a letter has to be written to the EEO office if a women or minority is not hired. HEH DEMS WHAT"S SUBTLE ABOUT THAT? God I hate these people."

grimace manically ,
offer inappropriate biographical details of his family, uhhhhh and uhhhh,
attempt to look intelligent by raising his voice and eyebrows ,
do his Jack Nicholson " Here's Johnny !! " grin ,
offer phony back handed compliments to the Flight Attendants and then say the airline pilot was arrogant because he ignored General Shinseki's advice to have more emergency exits.

Back when Scott Ritter was appearing before Biden's committee....before Ritter went over to the dark side..Ritter ws tryign to answer a question when Biden stopped him, saying.."Don't bother answering that..it's way above your pay grade.."

Yes. My state Senator(Kyl). He's pointing out how Justice Breyer and others use the standards of several other nations(he names them) to make their rulings. Do those justices need a refresher course in how to uphold our constitution, or what?
