Two men were captured in Philadelphia yesterday in connection with seven of the nine homicides in South Richmond last week.
Ray Joseph Dandridge and his uncle, Ricky "Cooley" Gevon Gray, both 28, were charged with conspiracy to commit murder in the New Year's Day slayings of Bryan and Kathryn Harvey and their two young daughters, Stella and Ruby, and in Friday's slayings of Percyell Tucker, his wife, Mary Baskerville Tucker, and her daughter, Ashley Baskerville.
"We believe we have put an end to what we consider seven very serious cases in the city," Police Chief Rodney Monroe said last evening.
The two suspects, both with ties to Philadelphia, have also been linked to a Jan. 3 Chesterfield County home invasion and are being investigated in possible involvement in other crimes between Richmond and Philadelphia.

Are they saying these guys killed 7 people, including two little girls, to steal cars? That would be very depraved indeed.
I hope that if they are found to be guilty of this heinous crime that they will be humiliated to the extent of them appreciating humiliation before they are put to death in the slowest and most painful way.
Most likely however, they will be drug and therapy induced to be deemed worthy of allowance back into society with the hope that they will not repeat what they have done and will be a productive part of society that we all will be appreciative of.
Reading between the lines on the identity of te victims, and how these murders were carried out would inidcate that these two perps are probably sadomasochistic homosexuals.

I'm not saying it's an easy choice to make because you have to assume you are going to die. But there are worse things than death - like having to watch helplessly as your wife and kids get their throats slit in front of you
It will be interesting to learn more about the perps. Most burglars don't slit the throats of their victims.

Absolutely. Positively. Some plain old common sense and fight with all you have then maybe the perp will be the one hollering for help.
